Guys, I had this issue for two years with fcon and the works. Dead pedal at about 2500rpms and at times, when pushing in the clutch at a light, the car would stall. It is at GTM right now for other issues but hope this is fixed as well. I don't think it's as simple as the utec...

I really don't care anymore. This issue has pretty much made me hate my car, so I've decided to part it out when I get back to school. Good luck fellas

Like I originally thought...it was the UTEC. Since switching to uprev, never a single code or dead pedal. It's like having my car back again LOL.

I bought the new pedal assembly, but it is still sitting in plastic, and I haven't installed it yet.

I just went and dicked around with my car right now. Its been sitting still for the past few months, but it is literally NOT EVEN RESPONDING to any of my throttle inputs. It just idles at 1750 rpms and does absolutely nothing. So now even if I want to get rid of it, I have to have it towed to somewhere because my car/ems/tune/whatever is so shitty that the car can't even move out of my goddamn driveway.

If anyone has any thoughts, feel free to throw them out there.

Just out of curiousity, how much are people paying for Osiris?

Try completely removing the UTEC. See if you get the throttle back at least...don't drive it around w/no tune -- just rule out the UTEC or not.

Uprev license = $300
Tuning = $400 - $900 depends on tuner
HPX MAF = $200

If you do end up selling your car, can you PM me? I have a Greddy Twin Turbo kit as well and would be interested in your injectors and a few other items.

^thats very interesting then. That might throw out the possibility of the UTEC being the cause of this issue then.

yea im getting more errors than you guys, but the main ones are 2122, 2138, and possibly 1229. And basically Ill press on the gas and nothing will happen. The revs wont even move. and then If I shut the car off, wait a couple minutes and turn it back on I can move again for a couple miles untill it does the same thing.

So why don't you remove the UTEC and find out for sure? Seriously, I could do it myself with a screwdriver and socket in 5 minutes. I'm willing to put money down that you've got some serious electrical issues, possible water on/in the ECU or shorted wires..hopefully it's JUST the UTEC damaged by the water.

Okay, so I have an update...

I went to start my car, throttle was not responsive. So I shut the car off, disconnect the Utec, plugged it back in and the car ran perfectly! No CEL's, held boost fine, everything was good. However, about 10 miles down the road, the issue popped back up. I disconnected the Utec again, and sure enough, it ran fine again.

However, I'm sure the issue will come back. I was convinced before that the Accelerator Pedal Position sensor (ie, the gas pedal) was the problem. But the car is capable of running without problems, so what could it be?! Thoughts?

Try removing the UTEC completely and let it idle, rev, and drive around slowly OUT OF BOOST. See if it pops back up without the UTEC in the loop. I think you either have a toasted UTEC or a bad pedal sensor -- that should determine which.

I removed the big harness with the lever from UTEC. As soon as I pulled it out, the car died. I could not start the car without the large harness connected. Is there something else I need to be disconnecting?

You have move that harness to the stock ECU.

Remember that wiring wise, the UTEC sits BETWEEN the stock ECU and the car.
