I did almost the exact same thing as you did daking350. I used some extra fuel injection hose I had laying around and split it stick onto the pinch weld. The ringing I have though is not the intercooler pipe on the frame it is definitely coming from the blower.

 

are your belts too tight? if they are you may have roasted a bearing...check the washers onall the bolts and make sure they are tight and not rattleing around..

 

Trust me I've checked all my bolts time and time again. Mainly because when I did my install, I didn't put loctite on one of the bolts and spun a pulley when the bolt fell out.

It could be that I roasted a bearing, but when I spin them all of the pulleys without any belts attached to them they spin very smoothly without any noise whatsoever.

The only bearings I don't know about are the ones within the SC.
