Default WTF: Where to get O-ring for DW injectors

Just called DW and they will not sell just the O-rings for their injectors. You have to mail in your injectors and get them rebuilt. I dont need that. I just need o-rings for the top of the injector that goes into the fuel rails.

Anyone know where to get the o-rings for DW 600cc injectors? They are denso cores but the stock O-rings are too small..

I'd also like to replace the O-rings on my HKS 1000cc. They are also Denso cores, so I assume they are the same rings as well

They sell alot of O-rings at Ace hardware, but can you use them?

Thanks!

I believe they use standard domestic size o-rings. Try autozone(or similar) and ask to see injector o-rings for for Ford Mustang 5.0

hmm, the o-rings that came in my nissan gasket kit are not the right ones... ill check out autozone tomorrow.

i still think that its stupid that DW doesnt sell them. I honestly thought the lady was joking with me. She like we sell injectors only. I was like WTF.

that's weak sauce. considering how much we pay for their product, you think they could sell us $10 worth of o-rings

My OEMs O-rings worked with CJM rails. I hunted lots of injector cleaning shops and couldn't find any . Try your OEMs.

I used OEM with my HKS injectors. Use grease to get them to slide into the rails without deforming (difficult to identify until fuel starts pouring out).

If you call DW they will send you a new set for free. I called them at the beginning of summer asking to buy some and they said "we'll just ship them to you". Showed up at my door later that week.

No thats exactly what they would NOT do.

I called and the girl said, NO WAY to get them without a rebuild.

Vas,

sure i'd take a set of 6. If you have 12 i'll def send ya some money. I needed the ones for the top of the injector going into the fuel rails.

Vaseline (or equiv.) is perferred, as it is petroleum based and breaks down with little heat.

there was never an issue with install. it was the 2 years that they sat inside the fuel rails that made them not want to come out in 1 piece.

gasoline is not a good lubricant.

That sucks. I spoke with a woman on the phone, most likely the same one because she was kinda "ehh". I told here I would like to replace my o-rings and she asked for my shipping address. When I asked if she needed my credit card number she was somewhat suprised and told me they were free.

At least you can get them from Vas.

Hal is right on. I lost a DW injector o ring awhile back. AUTO ZONE has a little red box with all sizes. YOu have to buy the whole box but they are in there. I think it cost me 16 bucks for the assortment of o rings. OEM's will work too because I think they use the same stock housings.

ya it was nice of Vas to send me some.

I did just get an email reply to my website inquiry. Prolly the same girl said 'we dont sell them, but I can make an exception this time. Only 23$ shipped for tops and bottoms"

Thanks for the great customer service DW. I mean, they are 550$ injectors and you can't flip a customer 50 cents in o-rings.
