does it matter what mileage you have when you install a turbo kit?
I recently installed a greddy twin turbo kit in my z that had 49k on it. My uncles Z has about 63k on it, is it ok/worth it to install the same kit or any F/I kit turbo or supercharger on an engine with that much mileage? Is it safe on an engine with that much mileage, mind you the guy doent wnt to go through tearing apart his internals to put better ones in he just wants the basic twin turbo kit, I dont know how much a difference like 13k miles would make but i figured id ask everybody. I tried searching it but i couldnt really find anything to answer this question. I already know everyone is gonna say sure sure your uncle wants to know, bc ive done that to people lol but the guy is seriously like computer illiterate, so cut me a break here lol
thats what i figured and told him, i mean the guy's car has less than 10k miles a year on it its not exactly beat on he only drives it to little local shows and on the weekends lol, he just kept askin people and his older friends and most of the time older guy's forte isnt f/i lol and he jsut kept asking me and asking me so i figured if i have more than just myself saying it, he'll believe it, ill also be editing this comment before i show the thread to him haha
