Default Vortech blower casing differences

A year ago when I first got my SI trim blower I tried to swap the impeller cover of my Sc trim with the SI trim, since my Sc Vortech kit came with the shiny finish while my SI trim blower came with the dull finish.

What I discovered was that the Sc trim cover was TOO SMALL for the SI impeller, so when tried to seal the Sc impeller cover over the SI impeller the SI impeller stopped turning; which means that the SI trim impeller cover is slightly bigger than the Sc trim impeller cover. So I put everything in its original configuration after that.

So now I have my new 928 impeller installed on my original Sc trim blower, hoping for greater things than my SI trim. I've read in previous posts that no matter how great an aftermarket impeller is, it will never match the T-trim blower because the inlet/impeller cover of the T-trim is bigger and will allow more air to flow, therefore more cfm/boost generated, more hp,etc...

So now what I'm wondering is, if I go ahead and use my bigger SI trim impeller cover on my 928 blower setup, will to perform better than if I use my original smaller Sc trim cover?

For that matter, let me go to the extreme here; if (I have no idea if this is even feasible) the even bigger T-trim impeller cover would bolt on over the Sc trim blower, would it perform better?

I would if the T-trim had a carb #...my trick is that the CARB number is located on the gear assembly of the blower, not on the the impeller cover...nor will they see my bigger injectors, walbro, and hopefully not notice my 2.87 pulley...

I live in socal, and cops don't like cars like mine...
