Some G love

I got my hand on a 2004 G35 coupe for a week. The plan is to test fit my turbo kit on the car, and see how it goes.
Overall things went well, and as expected. The good news is that 90% of the kit fits right on to the G, the bad is the other 10%. As anticipated, the charge piping going from the intercooler to the throdle body is not going to be the same as on the 350z. There is a ton of pictures, and you can see how things will shape up.

You can see here how the FMIC outlet dead heads to the crash bar support. Solution is further down the page:

Just temporarily bolted in place:

Over all it will be easy to adapt the kit to fit the G35. I was actually suprised to see that there is more room under the G than on the 350z. There is a ton of room where the turbo sits, and it can actually sit a bit higher than on the Z.
If one was to have a built motor, the front crash bar would have to be removed in order to fit the larger (optional) turbo. This FMIC will support more power than a stock block can make.

I don't know who you are either...
I recently became a vendor do to my mid mount turbo getting some attention. From this thread:
https://my350z.com/forum/forced-indu...rbo-build.html
Had a bunch of requests from people wanting this setup, liking the simplicity and potential. So I thought why not, see how things go. I had the setup for a year and it ran great, many track days and never had issues. Easy to install, and maintain.
I am hoping to get 4 kits ready right away so maybe a group buy. It will depend on the interest I guess. So far it has been very good.

All oil lines are stainless braided, and use -6an fittings. Turbo supply line is -3an.
This is IMO the best pump you can get. More details on it here: http://www.turbowerx.com/Scavenge_Pu.../Exa-Pump.html

I just wanna say props to you, I've been following your setups from day one last year. I'm in for the numbers on this kit! If they look good you'll def have an order from me. When do you think you'll get one on a dyno?

I had my car on the dyno last year. Unfortunately I only dynoed with the waste gate spring, and that was 4.5psi. The car made 320whp (DJ). I did end up getting a a boost controller and bumping it up to 8.5psi. It was a huge difference, and the car pulled very hard, compared to the 4.5psi. I did a couple WOT runs with my friend who has a 02 s/c mustang (dynoed 400/400 at the wheels same dyno) and we were even.

its crazy that it takes 4.5psi to make the same HP as a 370z with a few hundred bucks in bolt ons
