hmm, PTE journal are not water cooled, garrett journal are not water cooled . mitsu/IHI journal (ie greddy) are not water cooled. turbonetics journal has a water cooled option.
that cover most of the turbos (couldnt find much about borgwarner)

Can someone enlighten me on why there is a need for such device? Why would there be oil starvation in the first place?
Lateral acceleration forces push the oil away from the pickup arm, and of course, during startup.

OP so how did this work out in the end? Have you installed this yet?
I received the parts last week and await install. I'm having an oil cooler installed shortly so I will probably wait and do it all at once. The unit can be installed into an oil cooler line ( w/ "T" AN fitting) or directly into engine's oil galley. I will be running it into an oil cooler.
I purchased the following:
1- 3qt oil accumulator ( 16' x 4 1/4'' long) @ $169
1- Electric Pressure Control Valve @ $150
1- pair of clamps @ $17
1- Check Valve @ $23
In order to complete you will need:
Oil sandwich plate adaptor
SS braided hose
AN fittings
LOL
