Why did the belt take you the longest? Different size pulley??

You must also have very cut and battered FAT hands! haha

Was just thinking with the extra heat under the hood with the Supercharger, has anyone thought of doing this to keep things cool?

I've got a vented bonnet so not too bothered

Belt took the longest because with the bigger rad & fans in place there is hardly any room to move, especially with chubby hands

Anyone using the DW 600 injectors?

I just received mine and they don't have any spacers, do these need any spacers? Or just plug and play?

Like I have already said before, I have done a dry run with no filter and it fit fine.

I need some help with the oil catch can and the piping.

I read searched and read sooo many threads and am still confused! Some people are recommending drilling out the PCV which i definitely do not want to do.

Where are you guys routing your pipes from?

Johnnylaw, I'm just reading the thread trying to get educated. One thing you said was you got 13psi boost. I understand the pulley set up which spins at higher RPM's for the upper boost. Question, you say you have an ATI crank pully. Is it a smaller diameter then stock? If so that might just explain your higher boost. Point, If so you might be turning higher rpm's than your blower will handle long term.

I've had 2 catch cans neither of them needed to drill anything out.

Theres a guid on here somewhere for the cusco catch can, which is the one I used & the ARC one has its own instructions.

Thanks Ian! Appreciate your replies. I'll be running a breather filter on the US driver side, and a catch can on the US passenger side.

ATI is slightly larger than stock--might up boost a tad bit--but imo wouldn't add 3 psi. I'm not sure if it is my supporting mods or what. GTM stage 5 so, the blower is maxed out with their modifications/upgrades. I don't think I'm over the limit of the rpms for the blower. I'm going for retune in late May, now with a new (hopefully still leak-free Cosworth plenum). We'll see what the results are.

its not just a tad bigger, its alot. 1 full inch. On a vortech, that will spin the impeller 1000 rpms faster for the same engine rpm!

I'd say you could easily pick up 3psi from that.

Wow, I had no idea it was that much OD. No wonder, it took awhile to get the most effective belt sizes worked out. So adding a ATI dampened crank pulley can add up a couple psi to most Vortech/Rotrex/ATI/HKS SC setups?

Hmm. I wonder what it would take to overspin the HKS GTS7040 SC?
The specs I can find are 110,000 rpms max impellar speed, 2.5 max pressure ratio, max flow rate of 22 m3/min, 9.444 drive unit ratio, 4.2kg weight.

Thanks,
I think it was originally at 7200 rpms, but now it should be 7000 rpms (have to check); well I'd like for it to be at the stock redline at least

Thats good info to know, especially when I inevitably get bored of my new found power

All the figures I've seen for the kit so far are really inconsistent, I have no idea what power mine will make

Basing it on stage 1 power with minor mods I thought 370whp would be achievable but after seeing the power the stage5 makes I'm not so sure
