GTM Performance Engineering & Forged Performance
As much as I hate the double standards... it was a repost straight from the source rather than "third" party. In a sense I can kind of understand.
Unfortunately if a member posts this statement, it turns into a pissing match. If a vendor post it, it'll probably start more civilized.

Technically GTM is rehashing their own statement and not the thread. The other thread originated from GTM's statement which is the same thing that's stated here.
And I still don't get why you are complaining?? Just get over the fact that you were banned for a week. You're back now, so just don't let e-thugs get to you. Keep a cool head, and it most likely won't happen again.
I think it was more the fact that because the last thread was quoted by 3rd party, the mods are giving GTM a chance to speak for themselves.

I LOVE how this thread makes more sense because the other was 3rd party.. Its damn REHASHING!!!!!! YEAAA.. like the other thread wasnt quoted by SAM@GTM.. No damn difference to me.. Nothing new was said by SAM............. Just stirring the pot of bs drama either say the entire story or dont post ****.....

There is nothing technical about this......
HEs is an idiot, but listen... this is what the mods said:
this is better than a reopen since it start with the statement from the OP.... so there is no rehashing here. Get over your ban in the ticket/fights-with-cops thread, it happens....
not sure why you worried this continues, maybe you should worry about presenting your points, etc of what feel you feel is wrong here and false or whatever.......i understand how it was important to protect their product move, but i don't think very much of the OP either... he ain't no saint when it comes to bashing products to promote his as do only his can be good.

refreshing that Quick makes an intelligent comment. compared to most others on here.. Either way both threads had the same opening.. same end state, same lack of details.. Either post it or forget it.

What I know is honestly, about 2 yrs ago I was at FP looking at the first ever seen GTM TT kit while TDY @ Ft. Benning.. Sharif told me to look at this carbon silver HR Z or G37(cant remember exactly) which had a GTM kit on it.. And also pointed out the G37 they were having problems with.. He told me of all the GTM TT kit fitment issues at the time and how his tech had to modify a bunch of **** to make it fit. I know he was saying the instructions from GTM were sketchy too..
Not saying I dont like GTM or anything, I do, I have spoken with Sam numerous times and I felt he was a good guy.. Also George@GTM was a great guy,(formerly)I mean Ive called Sam like 0200am and he talked to me while i was on 24hr duty for an hour.. This is all I know.. Not taking sides but damn its dumb on his part to do this and not man up to Sharif or just part ways without this post.
Either way, this **** is stupid and it doesnt do anything but make GTM look like he is trying to stir something up...... We all know GTM doesnt need FP and FP doesnt need GTM.. done
Funny how if FP has a bad thread im a nuthugger/everyone.... All other vendors are protected and no one is called nut hugger/ its all forgotten complaints.....
You wanted to know there it is.. I HATE THE DOUBLE STANDARDS ON HERE.. Mods make Rules APPLY when they want them to APPLY..
Well, as far as customer service i must say Forged is in a different league compared to GTM. I know it probably doesn't have much to do with the situation, but i do think that if Sharif was given the opportunity to make things right then he would have.
There is a thread on the 370z.com with the same thread title that sheds some light on possibly why Sam terminated his business relationship with Forged. Apparently, some people who had contacted Forged with inquiries/interest in the GTM TT kit were steered away from the kit. They were told that it had fitment and QC problems and were recommended the Greddy kit instead.

I understand that some will say that is the price you pay when you are making a kit for newly released car and trying to make it fit X number of turbos with X number of A/R's. However, in the end that is a design choice that the manufacturer makes and they should darn well be able to back up their quality regardless of their own design challenges. Especially given the price of such a product. IMO, it would be like saying that all the people affected by the Toyota recall shouldn't be upset about the defects on their car because they should take into account all the variables and challenges in making a car. Again, it goes back to the fact that if a manufacturer can't insure quality because they are trying to meet to many criteria, they need to adjust their criteria.
On a side note, although Forged was considerably late on my friends car, partially due to a cracked sleeved GTM block, Forged took care of him in the end. In fact, Forged picked up the slack for two other companies on my friend's motor.
I would like to go on record that I actually dislike all shops the same so I am unbiased about GTM and Forged and am speaking from observation only.
For well over a decade we at GTM have prided ourselves on offering our customers and clients with access to superior performance tuning and aftermarket performance product manufacturing. We hold ourselves to the highest of standards and prove this daily through hard work, dedication, and exceptional customer service. We also hold all resellers of our product to the same level of standard that we hold ourselves.
Over the past few months there have been issues brought to our attention regarding one of our resellers, Forged Performance. Without going into great detail, we at GTM have decided that it is in our best interest, as well as our customers and clients, to discontinue supplying this organization with our products.
This does not mean that your options are limited in where to purchase your GTM products or have them installed. There are many reputable resellers of GTM items and our website is a great outlet, as well. For those who have had - or are in the process of having - GTM parts installed at Forged Performance, all warranties pertaining to these GTM items are still applicable. Rest assured this change will not impact those who have patronized us in the past or those who will do so in the future.
Please feel free to PM, email or call me with any questions or concerns.
