So check page 2, post 30 for the latest color pallet. I redid the pipes and plenum, a little more flashy this time.
Not as bright or eye catching as when I did my vortech pipes (https://my350z.com/forum/forced-indu...ipes-pics.html)

I powdercoated these in what was called "black chrome" but they recently changed the description to smoke chrome. I can tell why, its not black chrome. I was looking for the turbonetics coloring of their pipes. These were single shot colors so it was very easy to do.
You can see the difference in the original greddy pipes and the darker ones. I think the darker grey will give an oem look and be easier to clean/maintain. I have to bust out my infrared system to finish the other pipes and the IC.
Very subtle differences. In the background you can see my cosworth plenum....base coat in gloss black, then cast aluminum and then several layers of anodized red to get it dark. Whats cool is that its podwercoated but the raised letters are still black.

I was hoping for a wilder color cause I loves me some powdercoat and am all for destroying any resale value on all my aftermarket parts by making them custom colors, but I like what you've done here. Keep up the good work

I could always redo them....and I have a bunch of crazy colors at my disposal.
It is a very subtle color change to where you really have to know what youre looking at to tell. Polished aluminum is high maintenance and gets dirty easily.

yeah i was using ms paint and i accidentally mirrored it instead of rotating....didnt bother to change it back.
Will try to finish up the remaining pipes this weekend. A few other parts will get done too.

what color is that powderecoat? I had some wheel done in silver and they came out looking like primer gray. Up close they looked really cool (dark silver with some sparkle....I think the color was called sparkle silver) but from a normal distance they looked liek gray primer.
your pipes look nice though.
