Default jwt tt bank 1 wastegate gone

hi guys. i had my car in the air the other day because i hear this rattling noise coming from the engine area on low rpms when i take off or decel. so i had my car in the air. while i was looking, i saw bank 1 wastegate is not there so the side where the rod suppose to lock in, there is nothing there. its moving freely.rattling causing the noise. i can not see far enough to tell if the complete wastegate is not there or jus the rod broke, anyone experience this kind of problems and while i drive i kept my eye on my boost gauge, im not over boosting

You may not be overboosting, but you could be running one turbo too fast with the other venting to compensate. I think you could damage the turbo running without a wastegate not operating. Good thing you noticed it - would see if you can source that part from JWT...

you aren't missing the wastegate, you are missing the actuator and/or actuator rod. the car will not overboost. It will likely underboost if anything. Like rc stated, you might be over running the other turbo to compensate. Just get a replacement actuator and get it installed.

don't know if you can find it by itself, but if you can it just threads on to the actuator. It then uses a clip to attached it to the wastegate swing arm
