whats up fellas!!.... sorry I got home really late last night
well bottom line.. the tune isnt finished yet... I have to go back. I have the car back and everything but it is tuned for only 4 psi. The tune was also double conservative. It made 309/ 303 tq. again this is only at 4 psi and extremely conservative.
We were having some problems keeping the boost full steady at 8 psi. But full force is being taken care of. We are going to run it with an open dump and I have an EBC coming in overnight ( thanks Sasha your the man ). So I will report back very soon.
Vince@R/T Tuning , did all of the tuning.. and the car even at its state feels unreal!!.. Its really , really hard to believe that im only putting out those numbers!!^.. once it hits 4K it puts you back into the seat pretty damn hard and the noise that comes out of this thing really scares people away. I can only imagine at 8 pounds . Vince's tune is unbelievably good! the car drives like NA.
you guys can feel free to chime in with comments and give me some opinions, I dont mind... but sh*t happens.. and I am ok with that.. I know that it will get fixed, because I wont sleep until I do!.

I have to call vince and find out... I cant do anything till fri cause I have work.. I know they are busy because of track day this weekend.. but Im sure vince would work something out
even with the sts kit, I think I remember seeing that they had the same problem(not able to hold steady boost and boost not coming full in 1st or 2nd) EBC solved that problem. I hope that is the only problem. Did you have any leaks?

I am using the EBC via Haltech right now.
If you guys recall this dyno (with boost logged):

You can see how the boost drops. At first I thougth it was the turbo, or the way the wastegate recirculation tube was plumbed (90deg entry at down pipe) ect. That dyno was on wastegate spring recirculated w/g and OEM style rear muffler
This is the thread; https://my350z.com/forum/forced-indu...-resulsts.html
It turned out to be my rear muffler. Once I had it removed and replaced it with just a 2' piece of straight pipe the boost on spring pressure was as follows (from Hltech log):
RPM/ Boost
3.5k/ 5.5psi
4.0k/ 8.9psi
4.5k/ 8.9psi
5.0k/ 8.3psi
5.5k/ 8.4psi
6.0k/ 8.3psi
6.5k/ 8.0psi
When I put the rear muffler back on, it got all screwy again, with boost tapering off after 4500rpm.
So my conclusion was that the muffler was a restriction. After that, there was only on logical thing to do...cut the f...er open:

As you can see, that thing was a huge restriction. I removed some stuff from it, but it still didn't do what I wanted it to. After that I put the EBC on and dialed in 8psi through the entire RPM range. Made 402whp with 8psi of boost after that, with the OEM style muffler linked above. The exhasut is queter than stock.

Looks as if the EBC is almost a must
BTW this is the EBC I will be offering with the kits:

Sasha, I must say that you are on top of your game. When the time is right(just bought a house so moniez are tight) I know who I will be in contact with. Your service and attention to detail is what has kept me at bay since day one. Also your willingness to listen to what people have to say about ways to improve your kit, and then off you go to make something happen. One must not forget your robotic welds(don't lie we know you built yourself a robot to do that for you
). I just want to thank you for your service to the community and wish the 1st few users of your product nothing but the best(as this is what you intended when you built this unit).
