Default Any unexpected issues with GTM PWR radiator install?

Anyone installed these without any issues at all?

So far I've had to hone all metal mounting tabs for the radiator fan tabs to fit, only to find out the lower mounting posts are about 1/2" closer together than the OEM holes. Once installed the lower AC condenser mounting brackets hit the fiberglass radiator support ended up rubbing through the radiator and coolant all over the floor...

I'm a bit peeved after being told this is a direct-fit drop-in replacement on the G35. Even the mods required for the 350z have nothing to do with the issues I experienced.. still waiting to hear back from Sam but I just would like to know what other experiences have been.

Its not a GTM rad its made my PWR and the only thing it has to do with GTM is they sell them.

I have one that i bought from someone besides GTM and yes it fits like **** and I had to modify a ton of crap to get it to go in. When i bolted the AC condenser on one of the bolts was to long and went an punched a hole in the rad . I wouldn't buy another one.

!!! That's exactly what happened to me...condenser mounting bolt went right through the radiator once we dropped it in.. not just that but the thing doesn't even line up with the factory grommet holes.

What would you recommend I do??

I ditched the rubber insolators on top and made a smaller set out of rubber hose. I got the bottom ones to fit with a ton of phucking around and swearing. I have Mishamoto fans with an aluminum shroud so i cut all of the mounting brackets off that and re welded them to fit properly. I spent a ton of time making that thing fit

I decided I'm going to get it patched up at a radiator shop and try again.

Sam @GTM did confirm that fitment is **** on another one from the same batch and one of his techs is sending me pics and tips on getting it to fit.

Out of curiosity, is there another high capacity brand/model that fits the G/Z correctly?

Not that I have seen. My PWR rad is from one of the early batches and it looks like they haven't changed a thing.

Weird...my PWR Radiator fit as good to be expected. Corner 3 Garage had to make some minor modifications to get it to fit...but nothing major. All in all Im happy with it.

i installed mine several years back.

fitment was not perfect. I had to bang one of the welded tabs and shave off some of the OEM tabs to get it to fit.

your lower tabs seem to be much further off than mine.

there were some other issues with the screws that mount the top of the radiator.

Just to put closure to this thread, Sam emailed me these pics and we were able to make it fit by mounting the OEM A/C condenser as shown (in addition to widening the lower mounting holes to line up with the PWR's mis-aligned grommet/pegs):
