Yup .. horrible traction. Dont know if you mentioned what kind of grip your sitting on but i have to get rid of the Nitto's ASAP! Always seems like 1 tire needs to be replaced way before another never really get the chance. Need to bump the tire size up as well.

I'm running Kuhmo Ecsta SPT's right now. 255/35/19 in the front and 285/35/19 in the rear. They hold up fine N/A and there's not much of a traction issue at 7psi. However, 10psi is a different story and traction is a problem. If I stick with the 19's then I'll stick with the same tire sizes as well. It's just a matter of which tire to get. A lot of people will bash Kuhmo's for some reason but I've never had a problem with them until 10psi lol.

ahh u can still run. your trap is indicative of your true HP and even with a baby launch so you dont spin, you should still get close to whp specific traps.

I've really been keeping a close eye on the GTM GTR intake manifold conversion. Looks promising.

I was thinking they were this to mount the cooler to the IC

I'll try to get some more pics once I wash/wax the car this weekend. Only vids I'll prob ever have are from the drag strip if I ever get out there. Tonight would actually be perfect since it has cooled down a lot around here.

I had a chance to get a closer look yesterday. The bolts are def threaded and running through the IC. So yea they are used to mount to the IC. I was thinking a hole was drilled through the IC but it looks like they were skinny enough to fit through. I won't know for sure until I get a chance to take the bumper cover off.

that kinda sucks bc those things tear the hell outta the fins on both coolers. If its really metal bolts, it will eventually wear a hole due to vibration. Thats why normal ones are plastic.

That's what I was thinking. The bolt may be plastic, but I can't tell. Hopefully it's not metal .

Chris what you're looking at are the plastic clips supplied with most oil cooler kits. I'm not sure if they came in your oil cooler kit. Or if Frank supplied them. You may want to just shoot him an email and ask him. They look similar to the earl's zip-tie mounts. Here is a pic. Sorry it's so small. I also noticed in your pic There are two braces holding the cooler up. They look pretty sturdy to me between that and those zip ties mounts I doubt vibration will be an issue. Come down to the customer appreciation on the 24th and have Frank check it out.

Sorry, I didn't see this before. You're probably right. However, I'm still going to check it out once I feel like pulling the front cover off. It's just too hot right now. I'll def make it to the next Hills meet if it isn't 100+.

No updates, no vids, and it's running great as far as I can tell . It has been sitting in my garage for about 2 weeks. I'm waiting until the weather is a little better before I take it back out. I need to replace the brake pads anyway so hopefully I can get that done this weekend or next. How's everything with your car? Completed yet?
