Thumbs up FSP: Z34 Stillen Supercharger Installation

Hey guys, I figured I would share some pics of our latest project, a 2010 370Z fitted with the Stillen SC kit. Hunter wanted some extra power for the road course, but did not want the added complexity and costs associated with a twin turbo setup. We decided that the Stillen kit was just the right fit for his goals, and went to work on his Z. We have not been able to tune for wide open throttle due to a bug in our particular ECU ROM. We're currently working with Jarad at Uprev to resolve, and then it is off to the dyno

2010 Z34 6MT Sport Package
*Stillen Supercharger Kit
*Custom Failsafe Performance UpRev tune
*GTM / FSP 25 row oil cooler kit
*Berk Technology test pipes
*Saclam catback exhaust
*Tein Mono Flex coilover suspension
*SPC front & rear camber kit w/ rear toe bolts
*Defi Racer boost gauge
*Innovate LC-1 wideband gauge

Here are a few installation pics. Dyno tuning and videos to come soon! Enjoy

Removing the Gen 3 intakes

how many hours did the install take? that looks rather straight forward for a sc setup.

Anywhere from 12-15 hours from tear down to start up.

sorry if this is a n00b question but...

Is there any benefit of having 2 intake filters when it looks like they're both going into the same pipe with a simple 2 -> 1 connector?

Probably can't fit a large one for the rated air flow. Otherwise, its detrimental.

No, the 370z has 2 MAF's, one goes in each of those pipes.

My buddy just installed the same kit and I was asking the same question, then I found where the MAF's go.

Very nice kit.

I don't like how they merely accomodated the twin throttle body setup rather than designing to take advantage of it. What kind of blower - specs?

Thanks for sharing though. Looks like a nice, clean install - props.

EDIT: nm, found this:

Parts included in the kit:

• Vortech V-3 Series Compressor w/Pre-Assembled Laser-Cut Billet Aluminum Mounting Assembly
• (6) 600CC Fuel Injectors
• ECU Based Tuning Device
• High Output Fuel Pump
• Air-to-Water Intercooler System (Intercooler, Heat Exchanger, Pump, Hoses, Mounting Brackets)
• Polished Aluminum Intake Charge Pipe
• Cast Aluminum Intake Manifold
• Cold Air Intake Y-Pipe w/Draw Through MAF Sensor Bosses (as recommended by NISSAN)
• Genuine K&N Intake Filters

looks like a great system. Liquid to air heat exchanger is sweet. no pesky boost drop thru an air-air core.

Yes, the wiring for both MAF sensors need to be extended. I don't have a picture of the MAF wiring, but it looks exactly like the TB extension picture in the first post
