Alright, just as promised:

Basically same as Thom's except for the fact hat the G has a little more room in between the radiator and the front of the motor allowing the catch can to be removed backwards and up. The Z is a little tighter on space. So Larry improvised a ledge and utilized 2 brackets to secure the catch can to the radiator shroud. Only you don't see the 2 brackets as they are covered up by the ledge he welded on.
Perfect job. Looks and works great.
Issues with previous catch can is that it was not vented and ended up blasting oil all over the front of the engine. No more problems now. Engine is well vented and makes no smoke.
Thanks Larry!
EDIT*** Taking a second look at the first picture almost looks like Larry drilled the catch can right into the top of the radiator. Rest assured, there are 2 small brackets in between the can and radiator that is holding the can in place. ***EDIT

Does that $350 include -10AN braided hoses along with the proper fittings for the valve covers?
3/8" NPT fits on the drivers side and its a 16mm thread (i think) on the passenger side.
That way you just screw the -AN fittings right in to the VC's and the braided hose into the fittings

True, but these also don't have any kind of internal baffeling. I witnessed as Larry built the can right before my very eyes. It not only has a separated chamber for the gases to pass, but Larry also put in some steel wool (I think) to prevent the evil nasty oil from getting blasted into the engine bay. Won't get that for $29.99. Most of those cans like the one you posted are empty inside. Nothing preventing the gases and oil from spewing threw the filter and messing up your engine bay. Just FYI.

At 5x cheaper, this functions the exact same way for those of us that are not as balla as Tom or Randy

$1.50 in steel wool. Baffles have little surface area. Steel wool is much better for creating a surface for oil to collect upon. Larry obviously knows this since he used it as well ![Smilie](https://my350z.com/forum/images/smilies/smile.gif)
Obviously its a great piece that SP has fab'd. And if you can afford it, thats the 100% way to go!

BUMP!
Have any more units been fabricated? The LEAST you could do is post some more/new photos of the OCC while we wait patiently...
I want this thing yesterday!

What happened to production?
I'm having a local fab shop take a look at making one of these - similar shape and placement. My car is down right now for some other installs, so I was looking to have the OCC system set up in the next three weeks or so.
If there are any more production units or if SP is making more, who would know? I went to their website and it's not listed as a one of their products. Tom, if SP is still interested in producing these, who is the contact over there?

Tom
