Thanks again guys! Yeah, this Dyno reads extremely low. It reads around 10 percent lower than Forged's.

There is a local dyno day coming up here soon from a different shop. I will post what it puts down on that one so you can see a difference.

I am looking for some stock wheels so I can get a pair of slicks on there and see what kind of times she can do. There are a lot of domestic people up here that have no faith in the car. Apparently I am going to get rolled by a viper acr, a handful of gto's, an auto challenger with a blower, etc. I think this summer will be good!

I will keep updating as I go. I am waiting for the weather to clear up here and get warm!

Please get a video of these domestic rollers getting owned. I love it when they underestimate the true potential of a fully built Z car.

Trust me guys, I will get some!

Got to take the Z out for a bit. However, I was having some boost cut issues. I was given the ok to take it out for a day/night by Hal since the weather was so nice and I hand't felt the new power. Most of the tune is complete. Just a couple drivability spots that are going to be fixed this week. Also, maybe a special tune

Because of the boost cut issue, I was not able to give it full throttle or quick shift. I just wanted to play around with the car a bit. I am enjoying it quite a bit and the tires are actually pretty sticky. I have a feeling I will be going through them quickly. Car pulls great. I am in love. I can't wait to be able to get on it completely and run through some gears fast.

You can see in the videos that I am shifting far before the 7500rpm.

His overboost threshold might need to be raised slightly or the time threshold required before boost cut increased, or if using closed loop boost control, turn down the proportional parameter until you don't hit boost cut anymore. Arm chair tuning! LOL - just let Hal fix it.

^RC is correct. Just a couple of adjustments that need to be made. Like I said, tune was not %100 complete. I just got to take it out for a little fun. Hal will be finishing it this week

that power curve is straight sexy. 300 ft/lbs at 2500rpm is wussup. These guys with these crazy top end numbers and laggy turbos can have it. This would be my ultimate setup.

that trq at 2500rpms is solely a function of having ~18% more displacement over a stock 3.5L.

The only ppl concerned with trq that low are pulling trailers.

I don't think a low compression NA motor would be putting out 40% more tq than a 3.5 with stock compression. I'm not saying that anyone NEEDS the tq that low anyway. I was more just making a comment on the overall curve. This is what appeals to me over top end power. I understand that in a drag race the top end power will prevail but this is what I like

OP, any reason you went with the APS extreme over say the JWT 850bb or GTM kits?

Hey guys. I had been having some problems with my Haltech. I had bought it a while ago and was not sure what I was going to do. Luckily, somehow Hal at Dynosty got me a greeeeeat deal on getting a new one. I am not sure how he did it, but I must give him props.

I can't stress on how much these guys will do in order to make sure their customer is happy. I know it is not just with me either. They have gone over and beyond on everything. I have had so many little questions a long the way, they are always there to answer (even on their cell phones late at night). I know Hal's girlfriend hates me lol.

But seriously, I have been to multiple other shops and have never been treated this good. I highly recommend that if anyone is looking for a trustworthy shops who knows their stuff to give these guys a call. You won't be disappointed.

They are very modest too. Only if you guys could see some of the cars that they have sitting at the shop!

Thanks again Hal and Eddie!

As for why I went with the APS extreme. I ended up buying it from a friend of mine. It was not purchased new.

You should remove the gauge from your FPR under the hood or the liquid in it will evaporate. It should have came with a small plug for that port as well.
