Okaaayy...now this is weird!
I honestly don't think it was my rods... I checked my compression and it all checked out perfectly, if a rod was bent my compression would have been low. Plus, there is no way to check the rods without disassembly of the engine.
Regardless, what is done is done. Time for a new engine.
S12 driver, the truck is a 4.3L V6. The Colorado comes with a 5.3L V8.
