400whp on a rev-up vortech?
I have done alot of searching and have found that alot of the info out there is for the non rev-up engines.
What I would like to do is hit the magical 400whp mark on a revup using the 2.87 pulley. Right now I have the regular vortech kit on my car with a nismo exhaust. I have berk high flow cats sitting on my floor next to some 600cc DW injectors and a walbro 255.
My question is what do you guys with rev-ups think the best way to hit 400whp would be with what I have or dont have?

Look up some of my old threads. Actually it was not that easy to get over the 400whp mark on my rev-up. With the out of the box vortech kit, s/s box,440 injectors, hf cats and 2.5" dual exhaust and 2.87 pulley the most i could get out of the kit was 380 whp and 320wtq on a dyno jet. remember the 2.87 serp pulley on a rev-up is equivilent to a 3.12 serp pulley on a non rev-up due to the different cog pulley configurations between the rev-up and non rev-up kits.
non rev-up s/c cog 28 tooth j/s 32 tooth
rev-up s/c 32 tooth j/s 34 tooth.
I converted my revup kit to a non rev-up cog configuration " not easy BTW " look up some of my old threads and posts on the subject.

Sorry have been really busy. Yes I knew it had been done before and was more so looking for what the best way to go about it is.
Thanks jetmech for your response. From reviewing your posts and looking a little more into it, I think I might try doing basically what I was going to do in the first place, adding my hfc's and a smaller pulley and maybe throw in a 928 impeller in my vortech along with the 2.87.

I would say be very careful on the stock block, as in who you use to tune it and with what they use to tune it with. My stock block grenaded with the wrong tune with the 2.87 pulley. I am very lucky Trey Cobb stepped up and bought me a new fully built block. I would also add to your list atleast 600cc injectors and return fuel line.
