I'd use the search to look for "engine build" narrow it down to titles, and narrow it to the tech sections.

I've been getting pretty good with the search function myself the last few weeks while looking at vortech options...

Search for IPP. I believe they are in Texas. I have only read good things about their short blocks.

What do you mean by "not sure what to use"? Not sure about what pistons? what rods? what head gasket? what head studs? Your question is pretty open

Buy a short block from IPP, Forged, Injected, GTM or build you own with JE, Cosworth or most other good forged pistons. Use Pauter, Corillo or Eagle rods for Head gaskets HKS, cosworth or HR gaskets and head studs ARP L19s are the norm.

theres a subforum called shop build with hundreds of examples of built motors on all levels of FI power.

for a daily driven 600whp build i'd use

pauter rods
arias extreme pistons
ARP L19 head studs
Arp Main studs
HKS head gasket
Injected billet girdle
BC stage 3 cams
JWT springs

you said you dont want to do heads, but if you want a 600whp pump gas daily driver, you'll need them.

If you just wanna make 600whp on kill setting, then maybe not.

also remember you'll need a 1000cc injectors, twin pump and return fuel system to run 600whp daily.

looks good. Since they are the same price, I'd get the carrillo rods instead. best of the best.

rumor has it that Forged build some solid motors I may be biased, but that would be my choice
