Default High Mileage Boosted VQ's

Now that our cars are getting old some people have been boosting there G/Z for a while now. Some people like me are just getting started with modding the VQ platform. So i figured I should start a thread for people that have either boosted there VQ engine for a couple of thousand miles or for people that have boosted there VQ eninge at or after 100k miles. I purpose of this is to basically give people the idea of how many miles and abuse can the engine take under boost with alot of miles or being boosted for a long time.

Mine has been boosted since 30k and the motor finally let go at 97k. I had mine built for reliability not high power since I knew I would be beating mine up. My stats are in my sig.

Really? That’s pretty encouraging to me… I’d be happy if my stock motor held for 67k miles…

Considering he is built and blew it only running 365HP doesnt sound good to me. If I went FI I wouldnt build it and would want more HP than that. Not to mention I'd beat the hell out of the car.

I don't think his motor is actually built though.

That's an oxymoron if I ever saw one. J/k I guess that has more to do with the variables than anything. A guy that bounces off the rev limiter with a stock block and factory balance at 22+ psi is probably going to be substantially shorter lived than the guy that get's on it occasionally but never abuses it boosting only 13-18 psi.
