Is it worth it?

Im fi and love it. If you have the support of a shop and someone that takes pride in what they build you and stand behind their work, You will feel alittle better about building your car. Thats my opinion. Yea it cost's tons of money and could bite you in the *** but hey its the gamble we take for the love of this sport, what hobbie doesn't cost money....
no its not worth it. ZR1 woulda been in my garage by now.
it always starts out small/cheap, but before you know it, you'll have 30-60,000$ dumped into the car with wheels, suspension, tires, fuel, turbos. motor, stereo, etc....

i mean i love it i dont regret it.. because i love researching and learning and puttin it to work.. but u better be able to fund it.. and ur gonna start off thinking ur jus happy with jus bein boosted then ur gonna want more then more then more.. then ur gonna start paying more attention to it then ur girl.. then ur girls gonna get pissed and stop puttin out... then ur gonna start beating her.. then ur gonna stop paying your bills... then lose ur job.. prolly start drinking... pretty soon ur gonna be out on the corner selling your body for cheeseburgers
I'm still debating this question. I installed my turbo and tuned it on my own. Took about 2 months cause I street tuned everyday on my way to and home from work. Was able to take my time because i have a second car. It's running well although my ac line took a dump. I didn't spend a whole lot of money, relatively. Just dynoed it and was happy with the results. Raced and beat a corvette on the way home. Put a smile on my face
still not sure if i would do it again. But i do love looking at and driving my car.

because it has so much traction, it loses the "fun" when I wanted to just dick around on the street. Powerslides and rear-tire burnin u-turns and clutch dumps were impossible on the street where I spend 95% of my driving. When on the track where I can push the car past 150mph consistently, yes it's fun. But I don't get to do that on the street too often. It's so freakin boring on the street. And mine was tuned to over 550awhp. Straight line speed and launch control can only be fun for so long.
I agree with everything, i can't wait to see up coming mods on the 370 and I often wish I would have stepped up and bought the 420ZTT it was flawlessly done.
