Default Any interest in a SS catch can?

I had a request for a 4 port catch can recently so I got to work and came up with this, 304SS all around:

Proper baffle inside:

All tacked up:

Bungs (3/8" NPT) welded on:

Capped off (top):

Bungs other side:

Drain side (still need to weld a bung here)

Got some nice color going here:

Still need to mount it, and it will probably go on the front timing cover. For most people a two port can would be fine, with a breather filter on top. I kow that most make them out of aluminum so I thought I try something different.

I really want to do a full engine dress build and this would really work for me.

Thoughts on mount position? I do love some a/n fits and lines!

It says in the original post that it will probably go on the front timing cover.

It would be a nice piece for those looking to dress up the engine bay, and I would love to build many other things of this nature. Looks and function will go a long way. So many ideas, just never enoght time.

-an fittings would be available as well. Just need to find them in steel or better yet, stainless steel.

Thanks for the feedback guys. Once I have it installed, I will take a few pictures of the final product and go on from there. Maybe I'll make 10 units and see how it goes.

Like I said, this one is a bit unique do to customers request. The final version will have one port on each side, with a breather filter on top. It is a bit labor intesive, because to get the weld colors right it takes a bit of patience.

I would estimate the price to be in the $150 range.

i am game at $150. elaborate instructions would help. maybe a photo based pdf via disc? vs a paper deal...
also input on hose/fitting sizes. if you couldn't tell i am probably gonna be order #1.

this is on some usarc isht if you get my line. finally something to get remotely excited about.

I would have to look in to the hose size, but it would probably be this stuff:

Black an fittings to go with it as well. I have to see what size the valve cover vents are to determine size. I found one site (Australian) that does sell stainless weld on -an fittings at $15 a pop though. Hope I can get some in US/Canada for less to keep the cost down.

That looks great, does the plate inside (baffle) go all the way to the bottom or half way down? Basically airflow comes in, hits the wall then goes to the other side via the small holes you have at top?
