Hmm very interesting. I am boosted on the greddy TT but I'm not sure how hard or easy it is to do the motormounts with the engine in the car. Are you doing your test fitting with the engine in the car?

The othe mounts (with a twist) will be 3.675" long, and will have a hard rubber compound on the bottom. This will make the mount "solid" but still have some anti virbation material making it good for DD. This is why I am using a square bottom (and top) for these mounts. There will be 4 squar inches of this rubber compound on the bottom to reduce the noise/vibration.

I will post pictures when I have a set done and installed. Should really stiffen things up.

I will make a few sets and send them out to those that want to try them out, and provide feedback. FI will be a requirement for those that get sent out. Not sure what you have on the car now, but I could throw a set in with your catch can/PS reservoir.

Yes, the test fitment is done with the engine in the car. they are not hard to remove at all. I used a jack stand on the oil pan with a 2x10 piece of wood between the jack and oil pan. Then just do one mount at a time.

Hmmm, I would be interested in trying them out then. Another weekend project. I've heard solid mounts are too rough but your design sounds like it takes it into account. I used to have a torque dampener but I had to take it off because of the cosworth plenum. I've been looking for a way to keep the engine from twisting to much.

Yup, that is the idea. Provide something much stiffer than stock, and keep the noise/vibrations out. I still have to get them installed, and fire up the car to know if it will work as I anticipate it would.

I have had this idea for some time now, but it took me a while to find the right compound to use for this. After talking to some experts, we concluded that this compound will work best.

The PS cap kits came in today so I got right to work:

Two of those are already spoken for, and two don't have a home yet.

Also did a custom catch can, single -10an port on one side and dual -8an ports on the other:

Then I tacked up a diff. brace. This will be better looking, and better functioning than the original that I had on my car for about a year. This one will be secured differently to the subframe, so it will be stiffer. These (once completed) will be going out with a couple of turbo kit:

Catch cans are $160, and shipping to the US is about $25.
