The SportZ SC comparision date has been set
I have been hesitant to post the exact date and location of the testing before now for the SportZ supercharger comparision testing. I was not sure if Dave at SportZ magazine wanted a group of people there during testing or not and the dates for testing were still up in the air so to speak.
I just got an e-mail from Dave and he is fine with people that are interested to watch the testing. We have an ATI SC 350Z, Stillen SC 350Z intercooled, and a Vortech SC 350Z.
As Dave said in his e-mail to me " We have no problem with enthusiasts coming to the two events. In fact, let's promote it. In the next week we'll have the specifics (directions, etc.) that we can post on the web. For now the schedule is as listed below in my earlier e-mail and I don't expect it to change."
Here is the schedule as of now:
Sat., Dec. 13th @ Qualcomm, 8 a.m. -- Autocross
Sat., Dec. 13th @ Carlsbad drag strip, ~2 p.m. -- Drag Strip
Mon., Dec. 15 @ Stillen -- Dyno

PS: for those of you that have been following the progress of this test for awhile, you might remember others being involved in the testing.
Those people are still involved. The issue was they could only test so many cars at one time thus there are 2 parts of this test planned to happen. Part one is posted above which will focus on all availible SC kits for the 350Z. Part 2 we are hoping to have Chestons PE TT, Mossy's NA (and/or Richards 350Z), and hopefully DW's will have their SC 350Z ready by then.

Slay,
I'm sure we will have footage. As you see we got footage for the last article with the NISMO track event. Sport Z was the only magazine that brought footage for the initial release of the 350Z, Stillen Test Drive, and NISMO track event.
So just keep your eyes peeled
I'm suprised the editor gave the go ahead for people to attend this event. So all you So cal guys, take advantage of this!!
I'm coming up from Nor Cal to help.
zya there!

Hahah if anyone is getting a ride its me first! I don't even think I'll get to ride. Carl is the writer in charge of this event. But I highly doubt rides will be given at the autocross, as we need to gather as much information as possible. Besides extra weight will through the a/x times off
, or at least balance the superchargers lol. (j/k)
The actual owners of these cars might be nice enough.. better start kissing but now

Hi,
First, thanks for the heads up I will be there. When you say Qualcomm, I assume you mean Qualcomm Stadium where the Chargers play? I have never heard of the Calrsbad drag strip do you know where that is?
Thanks,
Shaun

Carlsbad raceway can be found by exiting the 5 fwy at Palomar road and heading east. The raceway is a couple of miles past El Camino Real (road). For those of you not from San Diego county, Carlsbad raceway is about a 35-40 minute drive from Qualcomm stadium, where the first part of the testing will occur. Yes, that is where the Chargers play.

I personally want to thank Dave at SportZ mag. for allowing people to come to the comparision. I hope that everyone supports the magazine as well. We come to this site and read their magazines for information. SportZ stays in business by subscriptions only. It is not sold in stores thus the ONLY people that support the magazine are Z owners that buy it.
