wow.

Wonder where else he cut corners?

Those worm gear clamps look like they are the wrong size, coupler is not oem vortech.

That hose should have been extended and run to the breather port on the vortech filter.

You dont have a BOV on the vortech, you have a BPV. T off the vacuum line on the front of the plenum.

We were missing oem couplings and intake elbow, I have the correct ones on it now. So extend that line to breather? I do have a bov, just not line hooked up to it. Thanks for your help

That line is coming from the back of the valve cover to vent the crankcase pressure. Usually it runs into the intake, but FI guys usually run it to an oil catch can.

I just stuck a little ricer breather filter on it when I ditched the standard filter for a custom cold air setup. Just do that or run it to a catch can like what was said above.

I tried a breather filter, but I spewed oil everywhere. had to run a catch can. but either way will serve it's purpose to vent the gases.

I would look into why that's happening. Sounds like you have an excess of crankcase pressure that's pushing oil out. The filter on mine is as dry as the day it went on.

I know a few of us built FI guys have varying issues with crankcase pressure. There was a whole thread on how to vent it, which is why I have a filter there and on the pcv.
