Could anyone with uprev running >8PSI (the more the better), preferably with quick spooling turbos (GT25R, GT28R, single kits ect) shoot me a PM? I'm collecting data on a (possible) flaw and would be interested in comparing logs and perceived issues from others with similar setups.

Long story short it's timing instability and surging at higher loads. Looking to compare notes with more than the few I already have. Don't be shy.

This have anything to do with why you're talking about pushing me off uprev with the build I have going on? Is this a widely known issue or is it something that you're working on on your own?

I'd be willing to offer logs of my set up for you if you're honestly looking to help the community and not start a flame war.

he has it on his car now, and i think randy is the last person to start a flame war.

I will vouch for him always trying to further the community to advance the VQ world to unlock all the hidden potential.

I'm currently gauging on how well it's known and if it occurs on more than just Gen2 ECUs. Uprev has enough on their plate already so if I can find a pattern and put together something useful for them rather than just complain that's the idea.

Uprev is a great product and if you read my sig you know I currently run with it and have gotten my hands dirty. Last thing I want to do is buy a standalone.

If you have the issue (and drive your car hard) you will know. Either way, it would be nice to see both good and 'bad' logs if anything to compare BFS/timing and ECU versions.

Im game for it. You guys know the deal and who built and tuned my car. I used to run stand alone and switched over and will probably be changing the setup here soon. I wasn't concerned about flaming the product...more of what is found on it, who did it, etc... if you know what I mean. I apologize if I may have offended you djamps as that was not my intention. I was merely trying to avoid any and all drama but am ALWAYS willing to try and help the community here when and if I can.

I haven't driven it much lately but when I do it's typically pretty hard in nature and Im sure you guys know I'm pretty willing to give it a good lashing when needed.

I honestly haven't pulled logs and would need your cable and stuff to do so.
