godspeed turbo kit
i know there are multiple threads about ebay turbo kits, and most of them are referring to the t3/t4 universal kits, but i just spotted this setup on ebay earlier today and wondered if it is any good? i am not planning on buying this or anything but found it and just wondered if anyone has seen of purchased this kit and what your experience with it was http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/godsp...ht_3550wt_1042

EBAY turbo kit ? really dude
EBAY ?!?!
I don't trust eBay in ordering and getting the right shoe size and you talking bout a multi thousand dollar piece of equipment where even a high quality expensive one is likely to give you problems
hehe all i can do is giggle

Godspeed is on the higher end of ebay stuff. The piping and intercooler kit prolly are fine but the turbo is kaka as is the BOV and Wastegate. Once you upgrade to a more reliable BB turbo and name brand Bov and wastegate then ur in legit kit territory pricing. If the piping is a copy of the tnetics then it will work but for the next question is for how long?

Since I'm doing an LS swap anyway and this is pretty cheap I would buy it then install it, get an UpRev tune then drive it until my motors blows. All for the community. The only thing missing that's of importance is the manifold. I'm sure if they copied the TN kit then the manifold from it would probably work. Not for sure though.

i got a good deal on the turbonetics kit and thats the ONLY reason i purchased it, but after spending a few nights installing it and relocating, heat wrapping a ton of hoses, banging up knuckles, more heat wrap, i suggest you seek a different direction... i read the TN reveiws, copmlaints, issues on this forum before i bought it, but to me it was such a good deal I bought it anyway... the godspeed is the same as turbonetics (looking at the pictures on the website the pipes look almost exactly identical)
Last thing, if you do buy it, purchase extentions, penitrating lube, more heat wrap, and air tools...

if i had to do it all over again, save the money and get BOOSTEDPERFORMANCE...

i dunno, supra guys use ebay turbos all the time with relatively no issues.
if the pipe fitment was good, thats a pretty good deal for a stock block build. heat wrap and fire braid stuff. maybe swap the wastegate to a tial as your really need that work. All the piping looks V-banded as well.
you still come out 3000$ cheaper than any other kit.

Godspeed figured out how to put a turbo kit together? I'm a bit shocked, they can't make an exhaust that fits well without mods, how the hell did they make all the turbo piping fit? I guess the mentality was.. gee we make exhaust piping already, lets make a turbo kit...we can do it!
I think the best bet would be to hold out until Dayco makes a SC kit.
