Default Is Stillen’s SS exhaust good for a Turbo application?

I plan on turboin’ my Z in 04 and I wanted an opinion on exhaust systems. Stillen claims that they have the best exhaust system on the market here is a quote from their web site:

“It makes the most power of any 350Z system on the market and fits like a glove. Retested on 9/11/03 in 5th gear dyno runs to add 16 HP at 5600 rpm and 14 Ft/Lbs at 4600 rpm. This is the first and best full cat back system available for the 350Z. The fit, finish, power and mellow tone have to be experienced to be fully appreciated. No other system available can compare!”

Is this a good choice? If not, what do you recommend?

Well, what you want to find out is diameter length. Say for example your turbo kit comes with dual 2.5'' downpipes, you'll want at least a 2.5'' exhaust.

Don't be so easily swayed by there marketing. There are many better exhaust systems out there for the Z. Really you should just get your own custom made, It will probably be cheaper and just as effective at a premade aftermarket exhaust.

I agree with this from the bottom of my wallet.

Therefore, I should be more concerned with diameter then anything else

I have dual 2.5 inch exhaust. Effectively flows a tiny bit less than a single 5 inch. Too big for NA but good for FI.
