Default 30 psi fuel pressure drop?

Have a AAM STAGE 0 RFS which has an aeromotive press reg...The fuel press ( Pillar mounted AEM gage) was steady at 52 psi and rise with boost...The pressure has dropped to 25psi and rises with boost...Car drives fine. Reasons for the sudden drop?

TIA

only 1 thing can effect fuel pressure, so check the regulator. the diaphragm could have a hole in it.

my car would never drive on 25psi fuel pressure, so I'd tend to think your gauge is wrong.

ya only a leak or regulator issue should cause a pressure drop. unless the fuel pump is failing or the fuel filter became very clogged or you ran something over that super kinked/crushed you feel feed pipe.

Where should I look for a crushed fuel feed line?

i wouldnt even look to be honest, unless you recently ran over something. chances are slim that it would wack the car in the right spot for that. that last suggestion was more of a strech of the imagination then a likely suspect.

check your connections @ the fpr it's self. Also try removing the gauge and installing another...
I get the feeling if your car was actually running at 30psi you'd see other issues.

My suspicions are is that it's a faulty gauge...As soon as I have the time I'll hook up another gauge in the fuel line and compare. Appreciate all the suggestions..
