When I had the shop, we installed a couple of these kits on 370's, and fit and finish were excellent, and both made around 390whp at 8psi.

Looks like about 7-8 ribs on that pulley system. Do the HR's have a thicker belt than the DE's and RevUps?

HRs have serpentine..one belt. DEs have two belts, so HR, being longer, may have more ribs to insure stability. SC kit provides newer..longer belt to accomodate SC drive pulley.

Looks like they have an adjustable tensioner on the SC belt:

Could be tuned for 50 more HP on that boost if you wanna use 93 gas.
My take...if you're goin' north of 450WHP (350TQ?) it's time for internals and tranny work
Personally...if I ever do this.... it's 7 lbs and 380WHP/ 300Lb ft. Think that will suit me just fine.

It's been said that HR's hold more boost than a DE... I'm going to be making similar TQ numbers and slightly less HP on my Rotrex unit on a DE.

Let's see I made 299.9 whp on my na hr z and I still have cats so figure at best retuned with test pipes and a lil more of an aggressive tune I get 305-310 wheel so I will spend 7k for 80-90 more hp ? That's like 80 some odd dollars per hp fail turbo it is or I can spray if I wanted more bang for my buck plus most turbo kit companies have far better customer service then stillen.

You got 300WHP with stock cats? .HMMMMMM
I have HR with Nismo Intake...Invidia Dual (stock cats)..and Osiris. I got 307WHP..but...that was on a Dynapak to the hubs. This dyno is 8% higher than dynojet...so I'm lookin at around 280-285 WHP. Sorry, just don't see you at 300 WHP especially with stock cats...seriously. Anyway...my take on this isn't simply *$80 per HP*.
Bolt ons will get you 300WHP give or take..that's IT amigo. So it's FI if you want to go *to the next level*. There's a HUGE difference between 300 and 380...not only that, the TORQUE curve is much better. You're ONLY gonna get there via FI. Spray is out of the question for me...I want power 24 and 7 and don't wanna hastle worrying about keeping the bottle on tap. Turbo..sure... but I don't need more HP/boost because I want a stock motor and tranny and I want em to last.
As far as Stillen..well, the 370 guys seem to be happy campers so far.

Within the next couple of weeks, I'm having a problem sourcing a replacement bypass valve so I'm looking at other options. My build list is:

MREV 2
ART pipes
XYZ Y pipe w/resonator
90mm pulley(95mm is stock)
Walbro fuel pump
600cc DW's
CJM stage 0
Uprev

The car it came off of made about 360/330ish with 1/2 the supporting mods and the OEM 95mm pulley so 380/345 is within reach.

You mean this..12-18lbs

http://www.f150performanceparts.com/...006100/807617/

Also found one here..cheaper. PN is slightly different? 6-12 lbs

http://www.raceinspired.com/p-711-hk...-all-cars.aspx

Also check out Forge stuff..this one has springs for boost desired:

Green - 5-15 PSI

$80 per hp actually isn't that bad. I'm at like 98 or 100 per HP on my z >.>

Please stop the ricer math.

Comparing peak whp number between FI and NA is just non sense.

Power under the curve.......that is where its at.

I respectfully disagree with your statement here. From the information and feedback posted on t h e 3 7 0 z (. ) c o m, a lot of the 370z guys are chosing GTM over Stillen. There's actually people who have ditched Stillens SC system and gone with GTM's becaused of hot start issues, canned tune problems, and other experiences.
