ID vs DW 1000cc high impedance
I need 1000cc high impedance injectors...
First off, anyone have any idea if the DW 1000cc have been officially released yet? I am getting conflicting information...
Also, does anyone have any insight in regards to the general performance of the DW vs ID injectors? I'm deciding between the two for overall performance and idle characteristics...

They are available, but I think they are only in limited quantity.
The main difference is that the DW's are remanufactured Denso bodies, and ID's are built specifically for the spec'd flow rates. The DW's are plug and play though, ID's require pig tails.

You may also want to look at the Bosch 1000cc EV14 injectors. They have been working great for my customers (550cc and 750cc) I have had a set in my rails for a while as well.
The Bosch EV14's are $525 for a set of 6, and $14ea for plug and play pigtails. These have the same flow rating as the ID1000's.

id1000's have to be the most linear and smoothest but you pay more for them.
dw1000's have been out for over a year now. Their 1300's have been out for quite a while too. I see threads on evo forums from the spring of this year with the dw 1300's. They come with the flow ratings on each injector and most of them flow 1400cc.
As of a few weeks ago injected had dw 1000 and 1300 in stock when i asked about them. They are out on the market but for some reason not advertised much.

I was thinking of getting some dw's and did some searching. Plenty of info over on the evo forums if you want to see some data logs of the 2 compared.

I have always leaned towards the ID injectors because they are purpose built to their flow rate and all the general positive feedback I get for ID; however, my tuner whom I trust in regards to tuning my car has tuned both ID and DW in higher flow 1000cc or greater, and though he has successully tuned ID's, he prefers DW @ higher flow levels I believe primarily for ease of tuning on his part...
Still debating my choice in my head, we'll see...

my ID2000s drove just fine on pump gas. Just idled very rich and low load was very rich. Maybe could have fine tuned it some with more time, but twin pump only supports ~1200cc injectors on E85, so i went back to my 1200s with are easy to dial in.
I'll go back to my ID2000s when I redo my fuel system for the 4th time probably just in time for the airstrip

Just to add some info..
The ID injectors are Bosch injectors. They are all flow tested and given a serial number in order of actual flow rate. Say for instance you have a bad injector, they will send you a new one with the closest possible serial number to match your other injectors. They also have a very complete spec sheet. I haven't tuned on dw's, but out of pte, sard, rc, hks, the ids are my favorite. Never had a problem with the others however.

Noob question , why not use low impedence injectors ?? I thougt peek and hold were much easier to control and tune compared to saturated. Unless they make high impedence peek and hold??

This is the reason i'm not into spending 1400$ on id2000's. I can't use them fully and i do not plan on upgrading my pump. 650 hp is more than i want anyways.
Raj, I'm still on my hks 1000's. With my twin pump on e85 i hit that 652hp an only 83% duty cycle. You just have to increase your base fuel pressure and those hks will flow plenty.
