Yeah I was planning on adding wideband, boost and oil temp guages. I already have an oil cooler, but I think I might have to get a smaller one because of the intercooler. Where do you suggest mounting the oil cooler because the intercooler takes up so much real estate in the front?

Are the ART test pipes worth the money? They certainly look impressive. I see they have extra long tubes to mount O2 sensors on, so where would you weld in some extra bungs for a wideband?
Which oil cooler kit did you purchase for your vortech tuner kit?

I've had the oil cooler on my car for a while now. I didn't go with a kit, I built my own. All the fittings and hoses are Aeroquip and the cooler is made by Earls. I'm pretty used to fabbing stuff up. My other car is an extremely modified turbo Mustang.

Wait before you switch out the Clutch....Nothing being done installing the Vortech will either negate or require you to re-do any work...New clutch and flywheel , if you choose to replace the stock flywheel , will run you about 1 k including install.

Any recommendations for a specific oil cooler kit to buy? I'm not much into fabricating my own kit and would prefer to purchase one from a reputable manufacturer to ensure the longevity and reliability of my engine.

Ended up fabbing my own, but was considering this kit at the time.

Its very easy and more cost effective to put together your own oil cooler kit. This is the setup I put together (quoted from my post on g35driver):

(1) 6' of -10AN Earl's Pro-lite hose (you can go with stainless or another brand if you want, but this stuff flexes better. also, i think i only ended up using 5').
(3) -10AN 90 degree swivel fitting & hose end (1 will go on the cooler, the other two will connect to the sandwich plate)
(1) -10AN 150 degree swivel fitting & hose end
(1) Mocal thermostatic sammich plate (thread = 20mm x 1.5)
(2) Mocal 1/2" BSP x -10 fitting (you need these because the mocal sandwich plate has BSP threading).
As for the bracket, you can piece together misc straps/plates/etc from Home Depot.

Also, I found Cheston's thread on my350z.com to be very helpful when putting together my oil cooler:

Cheston's parts list:

Note, he went with Earl's fittings for the sandwich plate that did not require adapter fittings.

I have over 100k miles on my Vortech with the 2.87 pulley. I am on the stock clutch, never had issues with it. It's my daily driver. I am not on the track every weekend or racing every sports car on the freeway either. I get on on it like everyone with a FI engine does but I don't dog it out. Have never had any issues with the Vortech SC. I had to replace the blow off valve 2 yrs ago and 2 belts in the 7 years the car has been supercharged. If you burn out the clutch because you are granny shifting or not hitting your gears right, change it then.

Thanks for the info everyone. I will plan on installing the SC this spring and leave the 3.33" pulley on to get started with. I'll get an Osiris tune and see how much power it makes and see how I like it. I'm not looking for a track car, just a little more fun when driving, maybe then I'll switch to the 3.12" pulley. I'll stick with the stock clutch and change it when needed.

if you throw the 3.12 pulley on your going to need to retune for it and its $150 an hour just a heads up. i would put that one on right away because everyone always wants more and save yourself in tuning money XD
