ya TX2k12. I think hottie Jessica Barton's supra was the highest at like 1156 on nitrous.

Sharif's customer had the highest hp gtr since AMS, et al didnt dyno. The huge HP cars (AMS, UG, etc) are running at the strip today. AMS 1600whp Alpha Omega has gone 8.7 at 169 @35psi so far.

Hopefully we are all arent just assuming the airstrip is gonna take place.

I will be here for sure, whether or not I am driving depends on how badly I want to win.

seriously, not driving your own car?

@jason LOL, cant help but to follow many turbo forums. but considering stock gtrs with just a tune run in the 10s, 566 will kill my car!

i'll be lucky to even spectate most likely.

The way the airstrip is setup is not favorable for high hp rwd cars. Thats why I still got beat by Ryan @ Forged's GTR when he was stock turbo e85 and I was at 733 whp on a DD. The runway is just too short for our cars to make traction and brake soon enough to avoid going off the runway. Even if I don't beat Hal, I know it will at least be competitive

And answer your PM

Were you losing traction from a roll? The rolling start negates a large part of the GTR's advantage. AWD traction aside, the only thing in the GTR's favor at this event is shift speed (well, maybe not against Hal). Have you seen his video against Ryan? It was no contest in 4th gear.

EDIT, here it is: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=rHL6R8CelyM

You must've had a coupler off or something man to have lost at 733 whp DD to Ryan - cause I was only a 1/2 car back with 520 whp DD (I jumped him at the start but still...). You got a torque curve from that dyno for your G that u can throw up?

And Hal ramped the boost in as gradually as he could, it was alot worse than this when he just let the wastegate do its own thing

I was catching up to Ryan pretty hard at the end but ran out of room to brake. If the airstrip was a bit longer I would have passed him

This is what I was running that day, shifting at 7k rpms - completely opposite torque curve with no tq up top (almost same peak tq, but you peak at 5700 and I peak at 4500) - but did pretty well against higher hp cars on that short strip:

Maybe you were losing momentum between shifts with the powerband that high on those turbos? Anyway, you won't have to worry about that anymore!

You have a dyno of your new GTR already (that you want to share)?

The only dyno I have was from the DD at TX2k12 so it shows no torque because it was in shootout mode. It should be similar to Ryans GTR last year since we are both maxed out stock turbos on e85

Anyways, I was spinning pretty hard all the way through 4th gear even on drag radials and camber dialed in as close to 0 as possible. I think thats what killed me
