Which kit ??
Ive done most of the research and have narrowed it down to two kits....
Opinions and reason why i should choose one or the other in this scenario.
As of now i am leaning torwards to procharger.
Some info:
04 base, exhaust, intake, plenum spacer, i believe 1 or 2 degree colder plugs(will double check), test pipes, will purchase a walbro as well.
Stock block. Looking to make somewhere around 390-400 hp.
I already have a license for Osiris on my Ecu. Will probably get a tune after installation.
1.Like it because its vortech, dont like because gold colored bracket, oil spacer needs to be tapped. i will probably end up buying a pretapped spacer,
$3100 firm plus shipping

2. Like it because of all the extras it comes with, dislike color ..will def be changed, a complete kit is what i like...

prochargers just break expensive belts. thats a deal breaker right there, no pun intended
why not just wait until there's a V3 vortech for sale. then you dont have to tap anything. Tax time is when people swap stuff out.
If the gold bracket isnt what you want, then wait 2 weeks and what you want will probably come up for sale.

Well superchargers are much easier to install. Safe if setup correctly ..as this is a daily as well. Just like I thought everyone is saying vortech. The only reason I liked the procharger was because of the extras and nicer guages.
Str8 the gold bracket isn't something that will break a deal. That can be powder coated easily.. I thought the v2 was better because of it being lubricated with the oil that's already there? Also I'm sure it's gonna cost more significantly ?

I have done some searching and the majority of people seem to have iffy experience with procharger. Like some of the dudes have been posting ^.
I would venture my opinion and go with Vortech. I also have helped some of my friends install these in their shop in Miami, and it can be done at home if you have enough basic tools, which I would imagine most people on this forum have. Especially since there are pic by pic instructions on the installation.
