Thumbs up VQ35HR e85 conversion

Thinking of starting early and just swapping to E85 as we speak,

Osiris UPREV tuner + Pump and injectors

Will I need DIFF fuel lines?

I know on my volvo we needed better compound fuel lines which is why I strayed because the custom cost would have been in the 1000$ range

What kind of gains on N/A should I expect??

Ill go 1000cc injectors and what size pump?? I will be boosting soon (See rear mount thread)

Only going to aim for 400whp but as for now just catback exhaust + test pipes are on.

If your goign for 400whp you dont need e85. Gains on N/A will be determined by how much you can advance the timing. Why couldnt this be asked in your other thread?

e85 for price of gasoline and engine reliability. Im in CA only 91...

more timing and cooler temps and higher detonation point...

Because this is different, dont hate.

i dont understand how you say ID1000s are gonna run like crap in your other thread, but now want to run them?

you still use the exact same setup i mentioned in your other thread.

ID1000s and a walbro 485. The lines are fine. YOu also have to remember you have to have high Z injectors on the stock, so that really limits the brands you can use. Mainly on ID or Deatchwerks.

FWIW, i get 11mpg around town on E85. It will cost you alot more to run E85, and for such low whp, you wont see any difference.

It makes absolutely NO SENSE to go E85 on a VQ for boost/power levels that can be safely achieved on pump gas. E85 is used in the aftermarket as a cheaper alternative to race gas.

At your stated power goal of 400whp on a 35R size turbo, you will be nowhere near the limits of a safe and conservative tune on 91 pump gas.

I get 11mpg right now x)

1000cc for e85 is WAY different than 1000c on gas .... comeon..

e85 = double consumption about 1.7 times so bigger injectors

Why are there so many haters hahahha jeez!! e85 is safer no matter how you look at it AT 280whp or 580whp doesnt matter! its a better fueling option no matter how you look at it x))

How u going to control the varying E85 % with Osiris as it doesn't have a flex fuel sensor option?

Hmmm... your definitely a Troll and a HKS GT kit is hardly is hardly a "cookie cutter", in fact an Ebay built kit would be more of a cookie cutter garbage set up anyway. BTW my HKSGT8555 will be the only one out of HKSJapan because it hasn't been formally introduced yet.

This is a dreamer thread... you came to post to hear yourself talk but your not going to do ****. Less talking and more doing.
