/\ you are not the only one.. Glex also ran his TT for double the years you have and he also track his car. You live in Canada so I'm pretty sure your car sleep in the winter too. I can also give you 3x the # guys that blew their car and some didn't even last a month. To many variable here and age of the motor/condition, how you drive, tune..etc I'm one of the lucky one here who's been boosted for 5 years now and over 40K miles on stock block but I'm running below 400whp.

I guess there is no point of discussing this because boosting a stock motor is really a gamble and no one can say if XXXwhp on a stock motor will last you a day or a decade. I was just curious how the OP get the 500whp limit on stock motor though.. I will be comfortable running mid 400whp on stock block only if i have a plan to re-build motor within a year.... Just my .02

Gotta pay to play. It's not if it's when and some seem to be luckier than others. And it does sleep in the winter but it gets it's fair share when it warms up. I'm almost 30k in that time frame

Another kit shipped out last night, and working on 4 more (deposits in). Can't keep up. Not to mention 9 guys waiting patiently in line ready to deposit for the 370z kit to be released.

I must be doing something right.

This is why you no answer my emails! at least not the last one. That's ok though. I'm glad business is picking up. You were singing a completely different song last winter so it's a good thing to hear you are so busy now.

also, about the engine stuff. It's all so variable. No 2 engines off the show room floor are the same. Hell, there is a member here (can't remember his sig) that ran just over 580hp on his stock block. He's from canada.

589whp to be exact

I know of few others i talked to that ran around 550whp, if your willing to accept its "when" your engine goes not "if"....be prepared to lose the whole long block and possible turbo bearings too.

Mine was never tuned to make 589whp....I installed the 3.5L while the 3.8L was being rebuilt. We street tuned it on wastegate pressure and at the end of the summer after I racked up some impressive kills I decided to put it on a mustang and get a few dyno runs to see what it was making just out of curiosity and I was pretty surprised at the numbers.

OP I think you're in damn good hands with Sasha and Hal!! If Hal is comfortable with the tune I would be as well!

<--- One of those 4 deposits patiently waiting for his kit to ship out is this Dude... LOL

Already received Intercooler, Spark Plugs, Fuel Pump (with filter) Injectors (in a Ford Performance Box... LOL).

Since we don't get a Tracking Number, it's always a great surprise when UPS guy shows up with a new random box... LOL

What Dyno?

That's also an important question to ask.

IMHO it's always safe to go with what your builder/tuner says.

Those items came direct from my suppliers, so I do not have tracking numbers...

The important thing is that you got them in new condition, and the kit is being built

Well yesterday didn't go as well as planned. Had trouble with the transmission going back in because jwt didn't send a alignment tool with the clutch. We finally got tht done and half of the kit done. I will hopefully have the rest done today after I get off work. Pictures keep racking up! They will be posted soon!

I went with haltech. I'm getting tuned on June 6th. I wish it would hurry up and get here! Haha. Sasha sent me a tune so I can drive it! The turbo is so loud even when cruising! I love it! I just drilled and tapped my intake manifold for better vacuum source which was a very good idea! I have tons of pictures waiting to be uploaded! They should be up soon!
