If you're scared about boosting your Z, the last thing you should touch is the Tnetics.

Go to a good shop. Have them sort you out.

Or if you want a good single kit get the BP kit. Don't touch that turbocraptics crapola

Just fyi, if I'm at a meet and I see your car, I'm very liable to pee on it. How much I pee on it depends on if I'm drunk or not.

Talk to you mechanic and get him to weld the waste gate open....still look cool at meets with your turbo kit but no boost = no boom....the only down side is you won't get the cool blow off valve sound

Good luck with the PL kit... just send Intense your money and I'm sure they will get that right out to you

Yet another noob thread asking for advice, taking none of it, and just doing what they want. Put the TN kit on, when I had one it was a blast. Maybe it blows, maybe it lasts for years... who knows. Changing all the piping and such for your power goals is just stupidity.

So you boosted your car to look cool for other people? And you wasted a favor on piping to have a custom setup for 380hp?

Not trying to be a d**k, Just asking.....

I learned a year ago that if you buy a RX-7, you need a mental exam. Great looking car, but every time you fill up with gas, you need to replace the piece of **** rotary that carboned up the apex seals. What a fackin joke of a motor. An enthusiast talked me right out of it when he said 'if you are serious about one, you need to see if it can take you 100 miles without issues popping up." Then visited the local shop that specializes in ******* (yes I spelled that right) and he had 8 cars there all with blown motors...fack that motor.

Stay away from a FI Z too, put the money into apex seals, you'll need it pushing anything over 350 horsepower in that car. Almost bought one, now got a new obsession which I'll have in 2 years when the import restriction is up

Unlikely - probably DJ numbers or just plain horse **** numbers. Either way, you need 9psi to get a real 380. I know, I have it. i was told I made 395 at 6psi...you know, corrected and DJ-interpolated. 6psi is a complete waste of money anyways

fast is relative. civic to 350z is fast, but a stock 350 is slow as **** to me now. The carboning is unavoidable past ~400 unless you are mixing your gas heavily...are you mixing? Even then it's still a game of when, not if. If you are under 350, it's not as bad and 350 gets that car moving pretty well.

Saw the title and saw the forum it was posted in. Let this one simmer a bit and allowed all the FI vets to enter and comment. Standard operating procedures followed.

OP, you're in over your bobohead with this one.
