Im waiting for the guy to meet up with so I can get the intake pipes. Until I get them made, I am at a stand still. So hopefully this week sometime I can start to make some progress again. I am also working 70+ hours this week, so no real time to get my hands dirty.

I am hoping so. I am just waiting for the gentleman to get back to me.. I really want to finish the rest..

So maybe this sunday ( my first day off in 2 weeks ) I can assemble the front end. I was also having trouble bolting up my extended wastgate tubes. They fit perfect while the engine was out, but now they don't seem to fit.. And no, It is NOT a clearance issue. IDK maybe I am just stupid lol..

You want to see a picture on how they should be installed?

I believe you have to invert one of the wastegates on the manifold, drivers side.

If you have an automatic transmission you may have to cut and beat the crap out of the dump tubes to make them fit. And by may, i mean you will.

I have 6mt. The tubes I have relocate the wastwgates to the bottom, not off the manifold. My problem is that they don't seem to have the right bends. I tried both sides and even flipped them, so all in all I tried 4 different positions. I think I really may be over thinking it since it was late amd i was tired.

It is not the dump tube I am referring to. It is a tube that relocates the wg to the bottom.

^yeah just got to page 4 and saw the pipe. I posted after looking at your mod list on page 1.

Why relocate the wastegate? Wouldnt you want to keep it nearest the turbo/manifold for optimum control? Thatll also make your vacuum lines longer. May run into boost control issues.

I thought the same. The previous owner of the kit Had this on there. But many people I talked to said it was just for ease of access to the wg. I was thinking about the affect it would have on boost control and didn't know. I may ask some experts and see what they say. Thanks for raising a good point.

That's a greddy kit isn't it?

The point of relocating the wastegates on greddy kit is to help with boost issues on higher psi levels. I believe it is because of the bypassed gasses re-entry angle, but I'm not sure. I do however remember reading you should relocate them for over like 15-18psi.
Searching back up on it I'm not finding the articles I found before so idk.

those are interesting.

To me it looks like one of your wastegates will be relocated slightly. Probably for the drivers side.

Do you know the brand?
