I am relocating them towards the bottom.
What exhaust are you running on yours? I have the HKS knock off with the magnaflow x-pipe muffler. Sounds great, however I think I will loose som HP since it is only dual 2.5 piping. So I think I need to find a nice looking 3 inch dual set-up. Not that I want to spend more money, but I think it is worth it.

I would definitely get a nice 3" exhaust. It will be worth it.

WOW. That is a hefty price tag.. Real hefty. I wish I could find something with the twin loop mufflers like the HKS.
The other I head I had was exhaust cut outs.. Running 2 of them. I saw that Sound perfomance had one that was vacuum accuated. So when you get into boost it opens. Kinda of slick..

If you want a badass exhaust that sounds good, get a custom one. For a grand or less you should be able to make a dual 3" to single 4" setup. Hell for maybe 700$ or less you could have a pretty damn nice slip on setup that you make yourself.
IMHO dual exhausts sound terrible. I like the tone of the GTR, and almost all gtr's have a dual to single (and back to dual). That's really where they get their tone (going down to single). Check out how raspy this gtr is with a (xpipe) dual exhaust:
IMO sounds like a ton of TT Z's with dual exhaust. Try going for a single, I bet it will sound better.

Finally got a chance to work on the Z tonight. Made some progress.
Installed all intercooler pipes and the intercooler itself.
Mounted the front bumper.
All that is really left to do is get the exhaust situated and hooked up, then we can add fluids and pray that it starts.
I have also added a GT spec front strut bar.
The Sparco harness bar came in and am waiting on the Sparco harnesses and the Sparco R100 seats to arrive.
Oh, I also purchased a Brembo brake kit from a member here.. Super cool guy.

I have also decided to swap out the front bumper for a Nismo V2, and the side skirts for the JDM nismo V1.. I don't know what I will be doing as far as the rear bumper goes yet, but still there is plenty of time to decide.

Well today sucks.. The New GT spec strut bar will not fit, unless I use a ubsured amount of washers.. That's a minor issue, but bothersome none the less.
BIG ISSUE. The waste gate relocation tubes WILL NOT FIT!!! They hit the transmission and sit way way too low.
SO I at this point need to find a company that makes the tubes. DOES anyone here have any recomendations? Keep in mind that I have 3 inch down pipes. I am not sure what brand they are. I wish I knew, but I don't
PLease can anyone here help? I have used the search button, but came up with no direct answer. There are alot of kits that are similar but they all don't seem to work with the addition of a 3 inch down pipe. The down pipe I am using also bolts directly to the turbo, so it is not using the adaptor thing that Greddy uses.

There were other makers back in the day but it seems like they did limited runs. AAM's are not bad. You can install with the engine in the car if you use the right hardware and have the right tools.

Gaining access to the manifold in order to both the relpcation tubes on is not a issue whatsoever. It is just that the tubes that I have are hitting the transmission really bad. The also make my Tial WG's sit way way to low. I would have aprox. 1 inch of ground clearance if I were to keep it that way.
So, pretty much I need to cut and shorten them, then try to cut and re weld them so they clear the transmission. But I don't have access to a welder.. DAMN!!!

I talked to my shop that will be tuning the car today, they will be fixing the tubes for me. So thats a load off my mind. At this point all I have to do is put some fluids back in her and she is ready to go to the shop. My tuner advised me nor to start the car until he gets a base map loaded. Upon doing that they will check everything over for me and let me know how everything is.
