hmmmm wow i come home and two horrible posts from you so i guess the thousands of cars returning oil below the oil line are all blowing oil past the seals and magically generating more and somehow not burning any of it out of the exhuast or sending it into the intake...............................righttttttttttt

technically you aren't supposed to return below the oil line as a "rule of thumb" but theory isn't always real world applicable. I have been using oil pan spacers on all the s/c and turbo kits I install as well as on my own vehicle with not a single issue (directly related to that....oil pump failure isn't related).

So no, in the real world returning below the oil line will not cause a backup as long as the turbo is sitting high enough to drain oil out of the center section (meaning don't have the turbo sitting the same level as the oil pan)

A/C line wraped for heat protection

Evap and Fuel line wraped for protection as well.

Motor on the way back in. During the install and now re-install, we did not un hook any a/c lines or the condensor. We left the A/C compressor in the car as well, just on bolted it and moved it to the side.

bbs350z does not like me nor the car at the moment.

Passenger side turbo. We Wraped the coupler with the same heat protection thing so it won't melt because of how close it is to the manifold.

SO far we have about 12 hours into the whole thing. Not too bad. It would have gone alot smoother if I had everything I needed right away. For future refence, if I ever do anything like this again, I will be buying a brand new kit.. There are way too many headaches because of the junk kit I got. But Now everything is mint.

The only thing I am waiting on now, are my intercooler pipes. I am having them powdercoated black.. Don't know if I am going gloss black, or satin black. I will decide in the next day.

Might want to use metal ties or safety wire on that heat wrap instead of the current zip ties. Zip ties will melt and break off then the heat wrap will come loose.

Yes that is the plan. I just mocked it up. I didn't have metal ties or anything, but do now

I learned the hard way with zip ties on my silicon vac lines to hold them on during boost. Wastegate melted the ties, blew my boost reference line and almost bucked the car off the dyno when it hit overboost cut. lol

On something like that cheap safety wire would work and not cost an arm and a leg like metal zip ties

I actually got it a a local hot rod shop. The material is the real nice thick gasket, with the metal inside of it. Thwy were cool and gave me a sheet fpr like 6 bucks. I made all 4 wastegate gaskets and both turbo to downpipe gaskets. And still have over half a sheet left. But it was no fun trying to make them.

You can get gaskets for the wastegates and turbos, just find the greddy part numbers and there are vendors that sell them. Thats what i did.
