Hey guys,
Am new to this forum but I've owned a 350z for a while now, i am actually looking to boost my 350z and i am currently looking into purchasing a turbokit from Treadstone performance they have the Turbonetics turbo kit revised this kit comes with: new tuning software (Uprev), wastegate dump tube relocation pipe, extra heat wrap for ac lines, and water line kit for the turbo. My question is if this turbo kit would be the right for my vehicle, this car is also my daily driver here are some pics of the kit.

Have the money available. We get dreamer threads like this daily.
My suggestion would be the GTM stage one turn key kit or a Momentum turbo kit from National Speed in Wilmington, NC. They are selling them at slash prices to try and sell off the remaining ones in stock.
These 2 kits are the best quality kits on the market. I wouldn't go with a turbonetics kit.
EDIT: Also, if you want to get the most power out of your kit your going to need to invest in a 3" cat-back exhaust as well as budget for installation and dyno tune at a reputable shop. Average shop will run you around $2,500.

What are your power goals?
I may have a powerlab kit up for sale soon. Which is on the same field as the momentum which are the two best ST kits out there. Or if you want about 70 more whp then you can buy my stillen kit. Shouldnt have to worry about blowing your motor with that..lol..
Id say Greddy over GTM if you want twins.

Strongly disagree my friend. Greddy kit doesn't allow for much room to grow. As well it cost almost $10 grand in the form it is, where as a stage 4 GTM kit is only about $8,400 ready for power of 1000hp or more.

Room to grow?
you do realize that a pair of ballbearing garrets to grow into is gonna cost you an additional 3000$. Combine that with the fact there is basically no market for the T25 framed turbos you are going to be pulling off.
no one would go into the build with the idea of room to grow. The 20g greddy turbos will make well over 800whp with excellent fit and finish on the kit. The GTM is so hit or miss, it might take months to get all the proper pieces.

EDIT: I could concede that maybe Greddy is better? But it's so overpriced it's ridiculous.

I'm pretty happy with my stage 2 TT Gtm, took about a month to get all the parts, slight problem with the shipping but then again which vendor on here has never made a mistake? My limit now is my stock block, not the turbos. And yea price on a Greddy kit vs anything else out there on the market is a lot.

I think the turbos are probably good on the Greddy but they have other things that will be limited. Fuel system, injectors, engine management, etc. It's not all about the turbo bro bro. Plus your forking over $10 Gs man. I'd hope the turbo will be up to par. Like I said, GTM gives you a "tuner" kit with turbos capable of 1000HP, and about $2,000 less for room to get your own fuel system and chip. What's the argument??

You can get it used for 2-3k. Rebuild turbos and even buy intercooler if it doesn't come with one and be under the 8k for the gtm kit. The Greddy kit has been proven to work.

Lol! Great pics! That was pretty over the top.
Prolly comes down to preference. But ur right about the pricing and that makes the choice for a lot of people easier. A GTM kit works very well, there's plenty of em out there and they make good power. Greddy works very well as well but that price is a turn-off.
With all the new single and twin kits coming out from every shop around here, competitive pricing goes a long way.

Are you SERIOUSLY" planning on doing this or,"kickin tires".
You have a 03 Z?Whats the condition?Miles etc?
It makes no sense to me to invest the money needed in
a car thats 10 years old. Also, used as a daily driver.
If indeed you have the funds available, you may want to take a safer
route with a SC.Still,I'm questioning the fact that you are actually
gonna do this type of project.

Going forth in my next build I had been pondering twins or ST. I spoke with my very schooled tuner and he told me if I would go with the GTM kit that he "wouldnt help me" (used lightly) because hes done a handful of GTM twin installs on z's and he said they are nightmares. His words were "never again, Greddy all the way". Now you may take this with a grain of salt as im sure there are numerous gtm builds which go in smoothly and havent had any issues. However, ill trust a guy that has been doing installs and tuning for a living for many years.
Hes not the first to tell me GTM has quality issues.

I'd choose a greddy 20g kit over a gtm kit any day of the week. It's not over priced, it's expensive; there is a huge difference between the two.
