personally id do

eagle rods
arias extreme pistons 10:1
jwt valve springs
jwt c2 cams
ATI crank pulley
and biggest/smallest supercharger pulley combo to run the most boost it will make.

I managed to fit a V7 YSi trim in my Vortech kit, but it's the DE kit; the Stillen kit uses a SC trim blower which is a slightly smaller version of the YSi, so hopefully it's fit no problem, or at least with minor work needed.

I also re-built the stock SC trim blower on my setup with a 928 Impeller to generate ~500whp as well (I actually pushed it to ~600whp but I don't recommend overspinning it that much)

I sure that was not the cause. It was most likely do to a combination of things.

What was your setup details.

Ya, So Bad tuning and/or Bad Gas.
Too much ignition timing and too lean AFR's @ some point in the Tune.
Don't know how the car was driven or taken care of, miles, oil, ect.
All of these things can play a part.
Still need detals of your build, tune, Ignition timing and AFR's, and Boost

Question: so your motor only lasted 4-5 months with the Vortech?

did you retune after the pulley swap?

So you had it tuned before or after you added extra Boost? Specs !!!!!!

What is "tune was one of the best the guy had ever seen" What does that Mean?

This means Nothing, need Specs !!!!!!!!!! Details, Details, Details.......

The TUNE has EVERYTHING to do with IT !!!!!!!!!
