I don't know what I would do if I found out this happened to me. Good luck with the rebuild and sorry to hear about this.

Final result:
Arias pistons but not arias Extreme duty as alleged, rods were pauter as stated. EVERYTHING else stock. Head gasket, head bolts, injectors, valves, valve springs, cams.

The build will be done in a few weeks and it will be built as originally stated.

Well 77k miles... That's a lot of miles for any built engine.

So...... IDK.

Probably because you were running power levels stock injectors could make LOL. Lol stock injectors... what a joke!

Yep, I found out the first built engine I had did not have the expensive billet crank in it that I paid for. After a head bolt pulled out and I was gutting the block for another block I found that I was ripped off. I checked everything else out but never thought to question the billet crank.

I don't trust any shops to do work without me visually seeing anything....which is why I do all of my own work now. This is also why I return all oem parts and aftermarket part boxes to the people that I do work for just so they know I'm not screwing them over.

The build:
New pistons Arias ED this time
Pauter rods (no problems with the rods I had)
ACL bearings
Heads are Ported and Polished oversized valves all Supratech hardware (purchased from a member on here)
Cams Cosworth 272
HR head gasket
ARP L19 head studs
600cc Siemens injectors flow matched
Also replacing the SS box with a Haltech EMS and re-doing the air piping for a better fit.
Should be done in a week or two.

Are those 2618 zero silicon aluminum pistons? I would not run those again. Too much piston slap on cold start ups resulting in quicker wear over time.
