Ogiehook you’re not getting any younger, so stop pushing your blood pressure into the red zone. This project is uniquely ‘you’, it may be genius or a costly folly, no matter, it’s your folly, and apparently well within your means. So keep the updates coming, but stop justifying the time, money, resources you lavish on it. The coolest men I know don’t explain/justify themselves to anybody, and you’re way cooler than them. Remember the quote “what other people think of me is none of my business”. I like you, so that’s all you need from this forum!

Default 9 yrs to finish

May 28,2020...After having to send the car to GTM, SFR Jtran (dumbasses), SOHO (too slow) and finally dynosty (slow-3 yrs and $$$$$), I decided to finish the car myself. All the posted pics were work completed by my in my spare time ( 9 months) while working a 40 hr week job in a 10 x 20 storage facility with simple harbor freight tools. Amazing what a dedicated person can do in 9 months compared to 8+ yrs by supposed PROFESSIONAL shops and $$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$!

Current pics to come

amazing work, i would not expect such a wild build for such a somewhat moderate exterior.

Sorry to hear about your rough times but damn that build looks really good. I’m loving the detail on the undercarriage.

Congrats on completing it! I still lust over the pictures of the custom radiator/ IC support that SFR did for you.

Yea, that was the idea..look subtle on the outside but when one looks in the trunk, under the hood or underneath the car, the time and work are easily recognizable...PLUS I have no body work experience as the rest or majority of bling was done by myself. As a firs t time working with plexiglass, CF, I learned a lot... I just wanted my imagination to be expressed....glad you like it!

I would have done an LS swap had I known it would take 3 motors to get a decent running engine...I have a 90mm stroker assembly with crank rods and pistons left over, an RJM closed deck block and a set of stage 5 ported heads left over the Dybosty didn't want to use as they want to use their "proven" setup...$$$$$..PM me if you need some spare parts, I have lots!
