Where are the Vortech 350Z's?

By the way, do you recommend synthetic motor oil to help with the situation that the Vortech doesn't like the sub freezing temperatures? I know in general that you should avoid running much boost until the engine gets to normal operating temperature (regardless of weather temperature), but maybe the synthetic oil better flow in the cold (and holds up better with heat) would be recommended as well? My Z is a daily driver and MD gets some freezing temps.

Well, it won't be probably for a few months, but when the time comes I'm going to get the Vortech supercharger (if I go FI at all). Since I'm having the Stillen headers installed here in a few days, the TT option is out the window. I started entertaining the idea of getting a Procharger, especially since I heard the local performance shop was going to install one on a 350Z in a few days. But recalling all the issues 350Z Procharger owners were having, and not to mention the domestic car drivers, I'm steering well clear of the Procharger.
Unless a better blower comes down the pike, I'm gonna make mine Vortech.

Reading this post and talk of the dyno . I will add .I just got my dyno done on a Mustang1710 dyno . With my mods .stillen cold air box , Z tube , crawford plenum , headers , cats ,stillen dual cat back . I came out 219rwhp on my G35 AT5 at 6,200 rpm .The operator equated it to 245rwhp on a Dynojet .He said he could set up the mustang to run just like a Dynojet [no load ] He has 20 years doing work with Mustang1710 dyno's . If stock Z's and G's AT5's are getting 190rwhp Ive put on some good mods [25 to 29 rwhp gain ] I am going to put on the Vortech this spring some time...money to save first.....So im following all the vortech and SC threads

Here is a picture of my engine bay from the "official" G35 kit. Special air filter that is a little ofset to clear the A/C lines. Looks to be removable w/ a little effort...

That is why I said you have to remove the blower to take it off. On the Z it sticks in the old intake hole a little.
