They were working on the tune on Wednesday afternoon and hitting the dyno soon. Hoping to hear more later today.
The radiator is a Koyo 53mm with stock fan shroud. The shroud was trimmed a bit to clear the Vortech.

Rob called yesterday to say that the car's temps are fluctuating a lot during tuning and it sometimes runs a bit warmer than normal. There is no air in the system. We had swapped out the DE thermostat for a HR thermostat to remove the OEM DE oil warmer. He thinks the new VQ35HR thermostat is fighting with the new pathfinder mod's thermostat...opening at different times. Has anybody else experienced this?
He's going to remove the pathfinder mod's thermostat so that it's always open. Does anybody else run the pathfinder mod with the thermostat removed?

if you have an built bottom end, there is no need for the pathfinder bypass. Piston clearance to cylinder bore with forged internals is enough. You should keep one thing in mind : the water you pass by at the end of the engine reduces the amount of water, what flows through the heads. Cylinderhead cooling in a DE is much worse than HRs have. Open bypass (pathfinder mod) limits waterflow and cause high potentially in-head overheating as well as stressing the head gaskets..

I drove the car today. It stalled 3 times, then had to push it to the side and wait to fire it up again. Not the best tingling feeling to have, but Rob is going to work on the tune.
It's hitting 14 psi with the 3.12 pulley and is knocking above 6500 rpm. They're swapping pulleys to a 3.33, which will bring it down to around 12 psi. I'm afraid 91 octane is going to keep this car from going past 500whp.
There is a massive clanking sound that is coming near the Timrod Vortech strut bracket. The car sounds broken at times, even at idle. They'll need to diagnose further and see if it's the bracket or something else.
ZCG is going to do individual dyno tunes for the 3" intake pipe, the Kinetix Velocity manifold, and the NWP 75mm throttle body. Those of you that were hoping for dyno comparisons of these individual parts should be happy.
Wait and see

So what numbers were you getting on this tune/psi? Dyno graph?

2.5 months later and I got the next big update. The new motor failed.
The hot-start issues were fixed by replacing the cam/crank positioning sensors. However, there were still a lot of terrible valve-train noise, as I mentioned in my last update 2.5 months ago. ZCG did a leakdown/comp test today. Compression was fine but the motor failed leakdown big time. Multiple cylinders were having issues.
The good news is that Rob and Rebello are going to eat the costs. The very bad news is I have to wait even longer, and it's already been 9 months.
At this point, part of me wishes I had parted out the car and just picked up a new Stingray.

Sorry to hear this op....and meanz , I already know your story. I hope the best for y'all...guess this just finalizes my decisions on building the Vq..and its a hell no.

The engine was torn down and inspected. Every single piston somehow melted on one side. They have no idea how this could happen. I wonder if the faulty cam positioning sensor could have caused it. Could be a million things. Everything else seems to be in perfect shape, except the pistons.
