Just another SC'd ZR

Just another SC'd ZR
MY2005 EU market ZR, VLSD, Brembos, ESP etc.
Mods so far:
ATI ProCharger with 9 PSI pulley kit
MTD 5/16 plenum spacer
PMAS HPX-N MAF sensor
DW630 injectors
Walbro 255lph in tank pump
De-cat with Berk test pipes
JWT lightweight clutch kit
Diff Whiteline poly bushes kit
Custom made oil cooler with Mocal sandwich plate
UpRev Osiris Tuner
So far, street tuned by myself. Pulls strong even with very conservative ignition timing. Waiting for CJM fuel return system since injector DC is 100% and AFR still too lean for boosted engine. Once finished, will go to dyno and properly map ignition timing.
Many thanks to all good people on this boards for sharing knowledge and being patient with noobs, especially thanks to guys I bother with internationally shipping and endless questions why and how .

Had to purchase and install fuel return system, injectors DC is around 80% on highest load now.
Yesterday I finished fine tuning of the ignition table and cam advance on a dyno.
All figures are at the crank.
I love this car very much now, so much fun with that extra power. It should come from a factory with that power .

How is it at the crank unless you strapped your motor to an engine dyno. I'm guessing they're just adding 15% back in, but that's not entirely accurate. Regardless, looks like you're making lots of power. Real jealous. I might be picking up a Vortech kit some time...that much power would definitely be fun!

Quick question for you. I am running the Procharger kit too. Do you have any internal modifications? You are about the power that I was hoping to get, but I was also thinking about buying a second long block and building it over the next year or so, then dropping it in. Just wondering if it is worth it for me to go through all the trouble to get that done to hit my power goal (450-500 RWHP).

Yes, but just about everyone here refers to their 350z Roadster as a "ZR" for short.

And it must be a roadster forum thing because I've never seen anyone refer to it as a ZR and judging by your post count and join date I've been around the block on this platform more.
Who measures horsepower at the crank anyways? Last I checked the dyno is turned by the rear wheels.

I apologize for a shaking video, GoPro was in my left hand .

Huge cost increase when going to 500hp with a built engine. The difference in fun between 450 stock block and 500 on a built engine isn't worth the time and money.

tcode,
Did you do anything to your PCV system? I have noticed lately that I am getting, what appears to be, some ring blowby above 5500-5800RPM. I have been searching for a way to correct it and thought I had seen somewhere to drill out the PCV line and replace it with a different Nissan line/valve. My next step, though, is to get a compression/leakdown test next time I take the car to the shop and possibly a catch-can.

BTW you should just get a breather for your pcv and just drill it out.
