Default Anybody considered replacing GReddy TT filters with K&N?

I was just wondering if anyone has considered replacing the Airnx intake filters that come with the GReddy TT kit with a pair of K&N filters. On the GReddy kit that I had on my Si it really needed it. The Airnx filters are pretty porus.

K&N makes filters. All vehicles except purpose built drag cars run air filters. Why would a turbo car not need an air filter? K&N makes filters.

I don't believe they make one that will fit. You can measure how much space you have and look it up in thier catalog. They make filters of all shapes and sizes. But the way they tipically design thier filters it doesn't seem like they will have much filter surface available on one that fits on the greddy kit. Give it a shot, if it work post the model number.

I personally don't like Greddy airfilters. I had a buddy who had one on his T-78 turbo RX-7. He showed me h ow the plastic thing aroudn the filter be breaking apart... it's flimzy.

Check out how many different universal K&N filters you can get here. There's a ton.

Someone should measure the GReddy filters and see if there is a comparable K&N match. I would be surprised if there wasn't one that would fit.

yeah but most K&N's dont have that bell design of the greddy and thats probably why it is of choice and greddy probably placed them where the fit perfectly vs. the K&N flat or cup shape design.
