You think there's enough space between the compressor inlet and the bumper to fit filters and still make it look aesthetically pleasing? I figured you would be running screens.

Oh, well I wouldn't think after all that hard work you would want to rack up miles on a setup like that. I try to limit pointless miles on mine (to and from work).

I had TPS/MAP blend functions on my Tec GT and it worked well. Kind of a pain to get setup properly since it was a blend but was doable.

Well, to me I'd rather it sit in my climate controlled garage during my workday than in a parking lot where people door ding it or like last summer key it. Then I take it out on the weekends or after work and enjoy it.

looking good. the joys of having all the fab tools

motor plate really makes you change the hot side routing. Were you gonna dump the exhaust out the fenders or try to route it out back alongside the motor mounts?

Downpipe will go under the motor plate, over the subframe and out the back. Wastegates are a different story. Those might end up out the hood or just open under the car although im hoping we have the room to recir them.

Manifolds are done.

Looking good. I think you also picked the perfect couple of turbos for a built VQ...should be a blast.

On a side note, can you please let me know where you are getting the exhaust manifold flanges...thanks.

We have a local guy cut them for us. All the 321 SS tubing is from SPD though. We have used the SPD flanges in the past but I wanted a solid face on mine.

ya gates are prolly gonna have to go up high if you want to recirc. at least you'll be able to change springs easily. i gotta drop my motor to mess with my gates.

I was wondering about the manifold flanges as well. very nice. the super short cold side piping is awesome.

Doesnt look like we got much done but i swear we had the front bumper on and off 100 times to get the final turbo placement so we could start tacking up the rest of the hotside piping.

only changes will be 98mm pistons, kelford 272 cams, and deleting exhaust cam control.

I have a second motor im building on the side to run on methanol and twin 6766 turbos with that will be a little more extreme.
